I must say that Mikolas is a really cute twink who looks more Sweedish than Swedes In any case, he knows how to move, he has solid voice, a very catchy song, and I am 100% sure he will qualify and bring the best result for CZ in ESC. Finally, CZ entry won't need saving by juries. So, so happy for Czeques!!! Oh, and the video clip is a masterpiece. I just love the camel!

Mikolas is the only hunk in this year's competition. There is literally no one else for me I would find attractive.

Today Mikolas posted an InstaStory from ČT's rehearsal room with Kristián Mensa and his brother Marek Mensa in it. Kristián (AKA Mr.Kriss) is mostly known as a surrealist painter, but he also happens to be a talented breakdancer.



His brother is a breakdancer as well. So, if I assume correctly that they are involved either as Miki's backing dancers or choreographers, we can probably expect some really remarkable staging.

Mikolas also said in interview to Radio Wave that his staging will be very dance-y and that there will be backing singers. He also mentioned that ČT is very open to his ideas.

Mensa brothers were spotted also in yesterday's InstaStory of Petr Havránek, co-director/co-producer of Lie To Me. They were filming something, so they probably won't be just choreographers. Great.

In Lisbon, Mikolas will be joined on stage by professional dancers and brothers Kristián and Marek Mensa.

That's great. Although I am little bit sorry for Thuy Ly Leová, the bathtub girl from the music video.

According to Escportal.cz, youtuber Anna Šulcová - who coincidentally happens to be Kristián Mensa's classmate - will be in Lisabon with Mikolas & co., shooting vlogs. I personally don't like her, but I can't deny that she is idol of quite a lot of Czech and Slovak teenagers. She has 360,000 followers on Youtube, 380,000 on Instagram and according to Czech edition of Forbes magazine, she is currently 13th most influential Czech on social sites, so I think it's probably a good way how to attract young audience and inspire them to watch Eurovision.

I wish Czech Rep. luck because it's one of their only decent attempts so far in ESC and it deserves to qualify from the semi, but a winner candidate? Absolutely not! To me this sounds like a homemade attempt at Robin Thicke or Justim Timberlake, it sounds demo-ish.

Today Mikolas signed a worldwide record deal with Sony Music and here you can see two short Instagram videos from rehearsals, giving some clues about Lisbon choreography: 1, 2.

He has said in recent interview that choreography would be inpired by Lie to Me music video, and it really does look like those dance moves from it. It is interesting, fits the song well.

I haven't followed this thread closely, so I don't know what happened, but that sucks. the Russian thread isn't a fun one to take part in either.

I do wonder how "Lie To Me" will be staged tbh. We've got so used to LED extravaganza this decade that it's actually quite a challenge to do without it imo, especially when it comes to upbeat songs.
