I don't think this is going to do anywhere near as well as the odds are saying. Maybe lower top 10 at best.

Lower Top 10 would felt as victory to us c'mon, Czechia in Top 10 ... few years ago everyone thought we'd never come back to ESC and now we are one of the frontrunners of this year's Eurovision (at least bookies think so)

If we stay high in the odds till May, it will be all over the media here. People will tune in just to see if we will really do that well. And if we do in the end, it will boost the popularity of the contest here massively.

I don't think it is a revamp. He's just changing some of the lyrics.

The changes sound weird to me, but I think that's just because I've heard the original so many times by this point.

On an objective level I don't think the new lines are any worse (though RIP lyric of the year, "plenty motherfuckers want to eat my spaghetti"), and I'm pretty sure first-time viewers won't notice anything; I'll just need some time to get used to it.

Honey I know right. Luckily, we have circa 2 months to go until ESC and that should be just enough time for Mikolas to do some explaining. I can help him with practical part if he's not good with words tbh.

Today Mikolas posted an InstaStory from ČT's rehearsal room with Kristián Mensa and his brother Marek Mensa in it. Kristián (AKA Mr.Kriss) is mostly known as a surrealist painter, but he also happens to be a talented breakdancer.

His brother is a breakdancer as well. So, if I assume correctly that they are involved either as Miki's backing dancers or choreographers, we can probably expect some really remarkable staging.
