Another day, another Serbian meltdown...

There is an old Latin saying, and it says: "Si tacuisses, philosophus mansisses"

In other words, if you don't have anything smart to write, then please don't write anything. You aren't interesting.

When you have the right to provoke and discuss what would happen if a non-existant country entered the contest, then we have the right on a meltdown as well, thank you very much.

Lol so true

Tens of thousands of young men (the Albanians from Kosovo) crossed the Hungarian border in the past year . They are grouping in the UK and Germany. None of you know what these people are , and they are far from ordinary . So , keep that smile because you have not met a real meltdown.
We Serbs stand aside and watch how the consequences of Europe's political fall down on their heads.
And since Siptari have Serbian passports and they are treating in Serbian hospitals, they will sing on ESC as part of Serbia.

You can keep smiling.

Vera, don't let his smiling bother you. Just ignore him. Even the British people (most of them) are ashamed of the nonsense and bullshit he is promoting in his political views. I obviously know this, since I was told this in private. So just ignore.

The fact that he is proud of what his country did to us in 1999 and proud of all the people they killed in the cooperative war crime says enough about him. For him :uk: is the most superior form of life, while the rest of the planet is an inferior form of human beings. With such people really, you can't discuss anything.

He can only smile, keep dreaming and cry together with other people who hate :rs: about Kosovo joining anything. That is never going to happen. Life is a b*tch, what can one do. Kosovo is Serbia and will forever be Serbia xheart

Milos, I'm actually not interested in the opinion of brainwashed Europeans . They take the newspapers , read them , and think they have gained all the knowledge in the world. I've traveled halfway around the world and I know from experience , for exaple, that German newspapers are most false. Notorious liars! What fabrications are placed on some nations , it's terrible .
I am a physician and a professor , I'm 34 years old and have witnessed the confirmation of the fact that the *** used the Kosovo for nuclear waste disposal . People get sick en masse and flee from there to those who had helped secure their independence. The fact that some "persona" is rambling on in a music forum , does not negate the fact that the government of this same man who laughs wants to wash her hands of Kosovo. Why ? Because Kosovo proved to be a mistake and again we come to the fact that only Serbs are the ones who can handle kohabitat with Kosovo.
I put an end to this discussion , it is pointless .
I'm a woman who likes good music , and so far my favorite artists come from Estonia and Azerbaijan . I hope that they will participate .xgoddessxgoddessxgoddess

To be European Broadcasting Union's member (and participate in Eurovision Song Contest), you need to be fully recognized and independent country by United Nations. Kosovo is not, so I don't see them on ESC in the near future.

Why so full of hatred? I don't mind if you hate but please don't make up stuff about me.

It indeed is funny when somebody said "another day, another Serbian meltdown" because it's so damn true... and indeed there's been another meltdown today

I don't see how my political views are anything to do with this (unless you make it about it), but if you want to talk about them, then why do the "evil" ideas I supposedly agree with always have the support of most people in the West when it comes down to elections? I'm only one of many. We went to the ballot box to re-elect Tony Blair and David Cameron. The Americans went to the ballot box to re-elect Bill Clinton and George Bush. So much for your 'insider' info saying that most people disagree with me

NATO bombed a regime, not a country. The crimes of that regime were no different to the crimes of the Nazi regime, just on a smaller scale. You expect the rest of Europe to just sit by and let it happen?
As for superior form of life, if that was true why would I be supporting the small Muslim state against being overpowered by its larger Christian neighbour?!

I can assure you that Kosovo will be joining Eurovision at some point, and I will make sure to check back for the reaction :)

Too many drama queens, all gathered in the same place
I don't see why you have to make a fuss about political topics - It should be clear that everyone has a different view towards these things .... No need for all that hate.
Let's face it: For some nations Kosovo is an independent country and for some it isn't. Since it doesn't fulfill all the criteria for becoming a member of the EBU it will not take part in the near future... easy as that.
For me Kosovo is indeed an independent state ... simply because of the fact that the government of my home country recognizes it as such.

Can we please move the kosovo discussion to a conclusion? I don't see the point in the two sides provoking each other. I have almost not been able to write anything on this side of the forum, cause it is just fights, first about jury-cheatings and Sweden buying votes and whatever and now this kosovo argument. Now I will be away for two weeks, and somewhat glad that I don't have to read on this part of the forum. Can we please at least have a proper discussion, like in this matter there are some that would like to see Kosovo compete (despite they may not be avalible yet to do it, the EYD was a one-off since they were to few entering) and some are not that happy to see Kosovo joining in a near furture. Period. Then EBU can make the decision about it. If you still wanna discuss Kosovo, go to the politics section or an another forum please, cause me and I am sure several others are tired of this.

People please stop with pointless discussions! You obviously do not agree and that is end of story. This is not right place for such discussion. I came here to see news about countries in 2016 and what I found? Pages and pages of non sense discussing. Please respect each other opinions! About Kosovo, for this thread ONLY is relevant if it will be part of ESC next year. And it will NOT (according to source from Wiwiblogs: http://wiwibloggs.com/2015/06/03/ebu-denies-china-or-kosovo-debut-at-2016-song-contest/97374/). That is it about this topic for THIS thread. What will happen in future? You have sub-forum for that. About politics? You have sub-forum for that. So, come on and MOVE ON! Thank you. ;)
I agree with Schlagerman1. ;)

On topic: What is deadline to join eurovision? Last year first one was in October? How about this year? If it is not known, when it will be?

Couldn't agree more; there are plenty of fora to discuss this issue, but this should not be one of them. I'm pretty sure the deadline is a little bit before the allocation draw and that this year was earlier so as to prep for the anniversary.

Please try to avoid political discussions, we have Politics subforum for that, so any politics-related discussions outside of that subforum are not allowed!

Thank you :D

I made a chart because I had too much time on my hands.
Already confirmed:
The 23
Have said some version of yes already:
24. Cyprus
25. Poland
26. Portugal
27. Slovenia (sort of)
No way they're leaving:
28. Armenia
29. Azerbaijan
30. Italy
31. Serbia
32. Georgia
33. Russia
34. Albania
Haven't said anything but will probably also be in:
35. Moldova
36. Romania
37. Greece
With a serious concern about participation:
38. Bulgaria (finances - they said they're collaborating with a private TV channel, but I won't be sure about their participation until the banner shows in the semi)
39. San Marino (size)
40. Czech Republic (interest)
41. Macedonia (results)
42. Croatia (f**king Radman)
43. Montenegro (f**king Vulic)
Kind of in a league of its own:
44. Australia
Possible returners:
45. Slovakia
46. Bosnia & Herzegovina
47. Morocco
??????:
48+. Everyone else

Slovakia won't return obviously: they weren't in Vienna (it couldn't be closer to Bratislava), Czechs failed to qualify, Poles bombed in the final... Well, hope never dies but still, a comeback would be a huge surprise imo.

I see Czechs trying one last time though, I don't know why.

I'm worried about Macedonia the most tbh.

^^ With your pathetic provocations, you better stay away from this thread, this subforum........or things will get nasty again. And it is not really the place, nor the time ;)
