Agreed here too. I might not be the biggest fan of Jessica's song, but I do really like how she comes across in the video. She might look a little lame with those dance moves, sure, but she just seems much more relatable and human than a lot of the other contestants, who in feel kinda... manufactured, I guess?

Sounds like something UK would send, juries will help it again. Australia knows how to play the juries, no geographic allies will do that to you. Song itself, incredibly generic non offensive, but decent I guess. It will all depend on the live performance of the singer. I'm thinking between 10-15 with this song.

It's awfully cheesy and the lyrics literally sound like they were made in 5 minutes and it definetly seems like a downgrade from Australia's previous entries quality-wise (and it reminds me of a bunch of other songs... including "Selfish" by Rihanna & Future at the beginning), but... I'm a total sucker for a heart-warming pop number. This is so lovely, because it can't help but bring a smile to my face. Definetly prefer this over all of the previous Australian entries, because whilst this is generic as well it doesn't feel like some cold strive for quality or perfection, it's just sweet and fun with a lot of heart.

Upgraded from 8 to 12 points. I may be biased, but I am so goddamn proud of my country this year. It's the first time Australia has cracked my top 10, and it might be a bit basic but it has a distinct Jess identity, and I have high hopes that she will deliver live.

What a time to be back from last year's Eurovision! I got so sucked into enjoying and catching up with the Korean Music Scene (thanks Super Junior, Mamamoo, then BoA and many more) that I nearly forgot that Eurovision is back already!
This song improves upon a second, complete listen. My first listen of Jessica's song was the recap intro segment that was the announcement. Needless to say, I felt all the things that some of our fellows have already been saying: it being auto-tuned, and another generic pop ballad that Jessica might not be able to pull off as her performance in 2014 showed.
That being said, I do think this time we have a greater chance of Jess bringing a more stable voice in to the competition. The song builds up from a lower register which suits Jess perfectly. It does give you a sense that Jessica has a palatable and relatable direction and identity in this song. Though I'm generally not a fan of pop-banging chorus songs, I got sucked in because of her starting with her voice alone in the song. The only thing I'm hoping for is for Jess to take it easy during rehearsals, as her voice just isn't the type to fare well in endurance.

I am still not into We Got Love. Sweet girl, but the song just isnt very interesting I am afraid. The chorus is too repetitive, and there is not too much going on here. It's not bad though, and I am sure it will have it's fanbase - big enough for another decent result for Australia.

With that said, it's technically not a bad song, actually when I really think about it might be the best Australian entry to date and probably the first Australian entry which I atleast can backup half-heartly (it's not a top. 10 material song for me, but top. 15 it could be which is better than the previous attempts). My main problem though, as have been with Australia in ESC so far, is that it's just so harmless and safe. This is like an average ESC female dance-Pop song, we have entries like this one every year and it doesn't add anything to the mix really.

She is the most international well known artist this year, wouldn't you say? She's supposed to be a pro and therefore supposed to bring a stunning show. I kind of think she will. I'm unsure if she ever charted in Scandinavia though.
