The song title is an abomination to grammar. Who uses a hashtag and then only uses applies it to the first word of a group of words? #We Got Love makes no sense at all. It should be #WeGotLove or just omit the hashtag altogether.

7 points for being one of the better up-tempo songs of the year. It lacks some power, and I'm not a fan of Jessica's voice. My main issue is the terrible title. Why do we have to have a hashtag song title?

This is actually not bad, at all. Very uplifting, hopefully good vocals this time Jess I can see this winning in a year with no clear favorite, 2011-style

Is this still a thing in Eurovision though, that some countries get through because it’s Australia or Sweden lol?

It is catchy at parts and quite modern, but the lyrics are cheesy and the whole thing is idk, bland.I feel like I've heard it a thousand times before.And yeah, I do think that being an Australian entry is important but we'll see.

Compared to Dami Im, this is weak and a huge step back.

"...Because it's Australia"..... I dont buy that! With the 3 songs sent from Australia so far there has been absolutely no big surprises. Does anyone really find it strange that Australia ended up top 10 in 2015 and 2016? 2016 wasnt my cup of tea, but I dont have any problems understanding why Dami Im got her result!
I agree that last year's attempt wasnt their best, but a qualificaction was not a surprise (although I do agree that it was overrated by the juries).
Anyway - being overrated one year doesnt mean Australia has a "green card" to the finals.
There were times when that was said about other countries - that then failed to qualify at some point (Serbia, Greece etc).

Having said that - if it was up to me Australia would have a hard time qualifying this year.

It is crystal to me now! is my clear number 1
It gives me some vibes of I'm Alive of Celine Dion! It is so positive, uplifting! Actually, it is on repeat all day to me today, it is clearly my favorite!

As well, that instrumental part before last refrain will look amazing on stage I'm sure!

Jessica and our Head of Delegation took part in a newspaper interview the other day, which included some interesting points. Nothing too major, but a few parts seemed notable, especially this hint on the staging:

"With singer and song locked in, Mauboy confesses some nerves about the staging. This weekend will be the first serious planning meetings about that, though she hints that water, fire and dancers may appear."
