Australia is loosing it's grip, I think... Their first attempt being the best in my opinion. Dami Im dud a great job - even though I was not a big fan of the song. I found last year a bit booring, and the singer had absolutely no stage appeal.
This year? Rather bland and generic.... I dont care much for this. Not even sure I would like to see it qualify.

After having given this entry a few more listenings, I have to admit that it's less blander than I used to think about the demo version. However, I can't see Jessica managing to achieve a top 10 result with such a kind of song, which has already been competing at the ESC a thousand times.
That's why you all noticed that I was only talking about Jessica's vocal abilities to perform such a dynamic song, which would be memorable according to some people somehow, after her awful "Sea of Flags" performance back in 2014. Her voice sounded almost cringeworthy, squeaky and even weak besides. I can't see her doing well and providing a single opportunity to win the whole thing.
Dami Im did it way better than Jessica. She's the weakest entrant that Australia has ever sent to the ESC by far. No wonder I'm still praising Isaiah from last year's ESC, because he had these musical skills and was so talented that he didn't need to try as hard as Jessica has been doing over the past few years. He gets an incredible deep voice and sadly messed it up in both of his performances.
