Geez, that was weird. All of a sudden I realized NSC 82 is actually gonna be my 40th edition and I had forgotten all about it till now.
Feels like yesterday I celebrated 30 editions. *oldie-mode activated* :shock:

My 3000th post will include my NSC 82-entry including the usual history-recap.

And for now, here's a teaser for what you're about to expect in my 40th entry. It's not exactly in line with the spirit of a celebration, but **** it:

Ok, I'm way too occupied with Congrats 8 at the moment, so I'll probably save that history-recap for my 50th.

Moving on to my 40th entry. It's a song I've loved for quite a while, but thanks to some genious on youtube who has created what appears to be the best unofficial music-video in the history of internet, my love for this song has been regained.

Czesław Śpiewa is a polish/danish singer who moved to Denmark when he was 5 and returned to Poland at the age of 28. He took part in my most recent NF and did rather well by coming 5th in the total standing. His music...well...never had such a hard time classifying any artist as Czesław Śpiewa. He covers so many areas of the music spectrum which is also what makes his music so incredible and unique.

Winning with this would be rather groundbreaking and can't exactly see it happening but I sure as hell would love to pull off a win with this. It'll probably have a way too polarizing effect on most people to even get near though.

I'm not going because of the soon arrival of graduation parties and stuff, so I won't be able to squeeze in much time for Roskilde. :/
Enjoy it for me though! :D

Roskilde is the only party/summer holiday/graduation I am going to have this summer because I have to restudy German.. So I am super psyched :D

Some of you may already know what song I'm referring to, especially if you entered msn last night.

Meh, maybe some other time.
I've listened way too much to this over the past week to just let it pass like most other songs I find potentially NSC-worthy. Plus, I haven't sent anything ska since Streetlight Manifesto, and being a massive fan of the genre this was an open opportunity to have the genre represented again. Enej most likely won't be able to live up to the spectacular 3rd-place Streetlight brought us, but I'm pre-qualified so what the heck..:mrgreen:

First time as a participating nation the edition ahead of me has been such a huge question mark. Both of the songs I wanted to send are taken so I've got no idea what to send. :lol:
Been thinking about sending a Croatian electro-/rap-group I recently discovered but dunno if an NF would be better.

^Nah, that's not the one.

The one I have in mind is more up-tempo, has quite a dark atmosphere and extremely morbid lyrics. :mrgreen:
If I was PQ I would've sent it right away without much hesitation but now I really dunno...
