For all the haters of the Austrian result: Austria achieved 116 televoting points vs. 115 jury points in Semi 1.

Israel achieved 116 televoting points as well.

This goes to show that there was more appeal outside the Eurofan bubble than you might have guessed (look at the iTunes) and that running order tonight hurt us. We might have had a shot at winning!!

Why is no one surprised by the shift in semi 1/final televote top 2. How did Cyprus suddenly get significally less televote points compared to Israel in the final. I am one of those who think televote is easier to rig, because well it is up to broadcasters to send in the results.

Juries are BIASED - much more than the televoters.
German jury voted just shit, like every year. Going for the top 10 odds, playing safe.
How many years did the German jury give their 12 to Sweden? I didn’t count. Again, this year all five German jury members had Sweden at no. 1.
How is this possible? Disqualify them!

people trying to excuse the austrian result because it didn't do as badly with the televote as expected is bullshit

like... how does someone go from not coming CLOSE to winning jury in the semi to winning jury in the final with a notable margin? a song that, while performing better than expected, is middle of the road, represents no evolution, no message and no vision for the future of the contest? it doesn't even sound that current or that crisply produced (which does justify sweden's jury result, as always). juries are getting more stupid by the year and need to disappear yesterday. if you don't want 100% televote then fine but like FIND ANOTHER WAY because this is crap.

(with that said, juries don't vote based on odds that much. austria and germany nowhere to be seen in the odds for almost the entire process and sweden was low top 10 only.)

What I don't like is that juries are supposed to be unbiased and professionals. But every year, they are more politic than televote and definitely not professional.
There are plenty examples for it, but nerfing some specific countries every year, while pushing some others to the top is pointless and annoying. Australia being so high and Ukraine being so low amount juries is just beyond me.

netta had a MUCH better performance in the final, it was very visible and did not go unnoticed. didn't everyone say she wasn't going to win after the semi? if she kept her performance that way she really wouldn't lol.
