You didn't mention the injury to Lindsey Vonn...that was a horror show. Despite what the doctors say, I'd be surprised if she made the Olympics.

4 medals is a decent result for Germany... well, I expected a bit more of Rebensburg...
But compared to the state of Germany in Ski Alpine 10 years ago, we can be glad that we are world-class again

Looking forward to Nordic ski world championship

I am glad that Croatia is among 10 countries only, who won medals! Of course, I expected maybe that Ivica Kostelic will take the medal today for us, in slalom, but Austrians had to save their honour haha.....so it is still ok.
Ivica, well done!:)

Is there any country which won medals in Biathlon WC except of Norway?  :D

In medal table very much countries wins medals in this event))) I think even this is a record! 12 countries wining medals in this champinship)
Very sad that for Russia medals wins only Anton Shpulin/ In Novo mesto totally unlucky not give Russian team win more medals) Hardly say races where we not get 4-th place....

Wow  I didn't know this... But nevertheless the dominance of Norway was enormous...

We Germans are just noticing how substantial is the loss of Neuner :(

Yeah, I too/ Norway have Berger&Svendsen. This duet is really bester sportsman in this event/ They not given chances for battle generally.

But German team have Miriam Gossner)))) This is a big power)

And Gössner is 50% Norwegian too. She speaks fluent Norwegian. :D Altho she probably never shows that off on German TV.

On the other hand, French alpine skier Alexis Pinturault is also 50% Norwegian, but afaik, he can't speak Norwegian at all (or very little)...

I think it"s strange reasoning because if you say so Darya Domraceva is Russian)
But she participated for Belarus! Not Russia although she grew up in the country. Such examples very much/

No, it's because both Miriam Gössner's mom and Alexis Pinturault's mom are both Norwegians. ;)

I am not sure is anybody into skijumping, but I have watched all competitions for some time already. And I am happy for only Estonian - Kaarel Nurmsalu =)
He got his and Estonia best ever result yesterday - 13th place. I believe that Nurmsalu will improve his skills even more and maybe get a medal one day.

Competition in Planica, Slovenia has been really cool. I like, when skijumpers jump very far. But I also feel sorry for the Norwegian man who fell :(
