Ivica Kostelić did very bad this weekend:( Yesterday 5th in supercombination, today DIDN'T EVEN FINISH the first ride in slalom in Bansko:(! Some rumours appeared few days ago that he had some problems with his knee, muscle rupture or something like that.....it was obvious today and yesterday ... the doctors said it shouldn' t disturb him for skiing .... but probably it DISTURBS...! Hopefully he will recover till the end of season (three series left till the end - Kranjska Gora, Hafjell/Kvitfjell and Lenzerheid, final)......:?

Very impressing for an asthmatic

Yeah, it is. I got asthma too, and it's good to see that even asthmatic people can perform well. Bjørgen isn't the only one tho, I heard that half of the Swedish team uses the same medicine as well, and I guess there's more people on it too. Shameful how Kowalczyk has been behaving tho, considering she was suspended for drugs in 2005...

An epic and historical day for the world and croatian alpine skiing today! :):mrgreen::cool:
Amazing Ivica Kostelić won a Big chrystal globe five races before the end of the FIS season 2010/2011! Today in Kvitfjell, Norway, he mathematically assured it, because now he has the unreachable advantage ahead of Didier Cuche, his main competitor for a first position in the overall standings!! But it is not everything.
Ivica also has big chances to win a Small chrystal globe in giant slalom and slalom, the final of the FIS cup will be held in Lenzerheid, Switzerland, this week (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday)! Oh my God! I am so thrilled, happy and proud of our hero!:):)

ps. And our women's team won the silver medal @ Biathlon World Championship

1. :de: Germany
2. :ua: Ukraine
3. :fr: France

Totally didn't expect such awesome performance from our men and women. Overall we have 3 medals. I hope we will manage to keep such results until Sochi.

I am watching Planica ski flying qualifying.

In training - two injuries because of falls (Bodmer and Yumoto if I am not mistaken, Bodmer broke his hand, Yumoto needs to make additional test in hospital). In qualifying Noriaki Kasai just fell after the landing, he did not stand up himself :(

Thank you Peter! Congratulations also to Maria Riesch for victory in overall standings in the FIS Alpine season 2010/2011:)! She was really great this year!

And thanks to all of you who supported Ivica this season! This is a very important event for all of us here.:)

I still hardly believe:
Small chrystal globes for a season 2010/2011:

Large chrystal globe: OVERALL!xhug!!
