Don't forget that we had 2 major celebrations in my country too and one sad one.
Justyna Kowalczyk got her chrystal globe for cross country skiing It was a very good season for her, she won her 3rd chrystal globe in a row, and she is the 2nd woman ever to do that!
Also in Ski Jumping Kamil Stoch won his 3rd competition this year, and Adam Małysz was 3rd. That made him being 3rd overall, and Poland is 3rd in nations cup.
The sad one is obvious - Adam Małysz finished his career On Saturday he takes part in his last competition, but it's only his good bye to Polish fans in Zakopane So sad, he really was the one that helped gaining interest in winter sports in Poland, it were great 11 years with him at the top Now we have Kamil, but stil there is noone at least close to him.
