You want to see what pleases you, do you? Did i say : let's copy sweden? yes or no? No. Thanks for your honesty. if I was HoD : first i won't use animated character because 1) someone already did 2) what a crap idea (but that's my opinion). The goal is to do what the "real contenders" are doing, and your role as a HoD is to find something better. And when I said, "let's see what Sweden is doing" means "let's do something else that they're aren't using in they performance to make our performance memorable".

I do think that some countries could become a dark horse after we'll see their performance (as others could become "non-contender" if they fail to make something great). There are countries who are already out cause of the songs. But for the countries remaining we'll have to see. And i'm talking about Sweden cause that's -maybe- the only country who already have a close final stage performance (as the performance in the melfest will be the same in Austria) so we can discuss about it.

I want to put down Sweden so bad as i give Mans 4points in my top ten.

1) As I said, because Sweden already have its final act (almost, maybe they could change something we don't know) + it seems to be a contender for the win (odds + people liking on internet), so it's normal to see people talking about it, right? (good or bad)

2) It's predictable, why? because IMO (IMO again) the performance of Mans is not the best i saw from Sweden (i prefer "Undo" or "Euphoria"… maybe "You" too) last year, it was really hard for me to beat Sweden and two countries did it : not only in the rankings but Austria and Netherlands had a better stage performance. I predict (me myself and i) that it'll be easier to have a better stage than Mans cause i don't find the character thing really entertaining. It bores me and i prefer when Mans is standing alone in the front and singing while looking at the camera. Heroes is not better than some others songs and not worse than some others songs (instead of Euphoria who was faaaaaaar the best for me even if i didn't see the other acts yet)
and you're right : when we'll see what the others acts will do, it'll be much clearer to see if it's a freeway to the win for Sweden or if Mans will have to fight to keep the win for him.

I hope i won't have to repeat again (because i said two times why i was talking about Sweden).

Please, don't take this too much for yourself, it's just a contest. Maybe your country will win, maybe not and that's just a game. Keep commenting on others songs you like, you seem to be the only one here to focus on Sweden as you jump on everybody who gave a critic on Mans's song. I also gave some critics for Estonia and Italy as I dislike these songs (so i'd rather see Sweden winning in May).

I don't find the stage of "Heroes" childish, not even a bit. It's a great show, the best i've seen this year so far. And the international juries were almost unanimous too...

So if I argue and post a few posts about it NOT being a favorite with a huge margin then I'm obsessed? GtY has nothing to do with it, we can critisize it too if you want. But with Sweden my problem is that I just DON'T see a big following for it and the childish part was honest critique. It may come off childish, it may not. For me it's the only part I like about the song . But I have liked the "childish" perfomances in Eurovision in the past too, so I don't know.

And I can admit openly that I don't want Sweden to win, yes, cause Sweden just won 3 years ago and it has quite a lot of wins. I just think it should be some country more deserving of it (with a great song too and I am not talking about my own country although I would love it if won but it's hard to believe in that). With Sweden it's annoying how every year it's one of the favorites although they produce the same kind of rubbish pop songs every year. And the swedish fans on this board OMG xslap

Even the song from Eric Saade was a mess, a copycat taylor swift, Peru lost in Scandinavia,… . You're comparing the results but what about the contestants? the runner-up has a weak song comparing to Heroes. Come on Girl. Bring back your honesty on the table, did you really like some others songs? I don't.

2. Yes, I LOVED Mariette's and Jon-Henrik's songs. I also liked Hasse Andersson's song. If you followed MF thread this year you will see I hyped those acts before Måns song was played. For me this is the best Mello in years. I actually can't remember any years in 2010's that's better than 2015. Saucedo wasn't any better than Jon-Henrik and Mariette this year.

Ok, i said what i said because i already saw you putting Heroes/Mans/Sweden down so many times, and i really don't get all that "hate". I understand what you're saying, all the love/favouritism about Sweden every year annoys me a little bit too. But in the last 4/5 years i think they really deserved it, i mean, good songs, great performances (not so much in 2013, but the song was nice), they always put their best on it. Can't you see anything special, worth of a "big following" in Heroes? Ok, i find that a bit weird, for me Heroes has the full package (singer [who is really hot, btw ], voice, song [one of the few uptempos of the year], stage), but yeah, anything can happen, who knows if Sweden flops (i hope not)... And don't worry, i don't think they're going to win, like you said they won only 3 years ago, i can't see EBU letting them win again this year.

Would be healthy for the contest if a not-so-successful country won, like for example Estonia... i wouldn't mind see you winning, Goodbye to Yesterday is a good song, but please, Sting needs to be better live, he looked like an autist or something. I know him since 2011 (I wanna meet Bob Dylan ) when i saw his poor little sad face when he lost out to Getter, and i'm really really happy for him finally making it, so i know he can do better.

Marie Jane: It´s not like the contest is rigged, if we win (I don´t say we will) EBU can´t really do anything about it. And before you bring up the "running order-story", a good song will win no matter what position it gets in the running order.
