Yes a good song. Not a great song.

Well let’s see what Mae Muller has. We haven’t even heard the full song yet let alone any idea of staging. So let’s give her the chance to show us what she can do.

And let’s bear in mind that a music video is not a good indication of staging for Eurovision. There were some people last year that genuinely believed Sam would be in a flying armchair in Turin.
I don't want to wait and see what Mae Muller has got, why do I have to wait until May to find out. I want to support the UK entry from the beginning.

I'm actually thinking nepotism is involved here. There's no way you can look at Mae Muller and think she has talent. Wasn't she in the Mika "Grace Kelly" music video when she was a girl, so she clearly has contacts from even a young age.

Oh god, it really is like Poland's drama with TVP and Blanka!

So I will just quietly say that there may be one or two nepotism angles at play, but I will leave it at that.

The song itself... well we need to hear the whole thing, but I'm not a fan. But I must say that really it was the visual of the TikTok, her dancing and her attire that gave me a bad impression. Maybe with a music video and as a whole package I will feel better about the whole thing.

She technically has more monthly Spotify listeners than any of the so-called "too big for Eurovision" artists we've been hyping so it's not like she's an unknown either. I just want to believe that an ultra-processed TikTok song with a load of vocal effects can work in an arena. I have my doubts.

They also tweeted in response to the picture for the single's cover:

"a different admin: pleaaaase you’re such an idiot, the sun is garbage"

They also tweeted earlier in the day that the Crystal Ball page was a sociological experiment by an Austrian University. So there is a very, very, very, very, very, very, very slim chance that Muller's song isn't the Eurovision song, and it was just tweeted as one last chance to gather data/stir pot. And that The Sun and other outlets picked up on it without fact-checking anything because "Exclusive". And all of this was just an experiment. Or they are/were just trolling.

Ooooor it really is her and they are just guessed well/wanted to create a cover for themselves to avoid legal blowback.

Who knows!? The longer I think about all of this it feels like I'm going to start ranting about Pepe Silvia.
