Are we really acting like Space Man was a great song? I liked it but as a song it’s fairly simple and the lyrics are mediocre. There were much better songs last year than Space Man. But what sold it was Sam himself and how he was able to elevate that song through the staging and performance. He is a showman and performed the hell out of it.

So let’s see what Mae can do. For one let’s actually hear the full song and then let’s see how they’re going to bring it to life. I hope they have some kind of One Show performance planned like last year to give Mae a chance to show off her personality.

Yes SPACE MAN was a much better song than everything else we've sent because it had a great team behind it and didn’t sound cheap in studio version. The performance elevated it to winner potential but the song and everything surrounding the contest were enough to remain a potential throughout the season. The odds shortened even further after he was announced.

The odds lengthened within minutes of the announcement today which is not a good sign and we will end up with 1% chance of winning.

Reading her tweets, seeing her tiktoks etc and how she carries herself, she has this whole yassss sassy attitude going on that a lot of eurofans also have and love in people. If you get what I mean. Given time and not writing her off immediately a lot of eurofans will probably love her.

So on Sigalas YouTube page there is a music video premiere happening on Friday of a new song with Mae Muller. So is it actually this song instead? Or is it actually that Mae is releasing 2 songs back to back which would be strange. Or maybe it’s not even Mae at all?

I don't know, it feels odd that Muller would release two songs so close to one another, even if she is only featuring on one. Though granted she might have planned to release her possible Eurovision song regardless around this time so who knows. As I said in previous posts there is a chance it might not be her. Given our source for all of this is just some random Twitter page that scolded someone on their team for posting it was her and news articles that have no sources or have sources that don't even mention her by name.

Again, I am still erring on the side it will be her, just that the sources for it being her atm are really rather shoddy and feel more like a lucky guess to me.

There’s no way they were reacting to anything other than IWAS in the video. I know they’re all paid actors essentially but their comments suggest there really is a level of ignorance in BBC circles about what it takes to do well at Eurovision.
