I apologise for getting into a little mini frenzy over it possibly being that dish cloth of a song from Grace Carter. 🙃 In my defence I've been awake since 5 with basically no sleep. It's hard to shake the worry that Sam was actually out Schulte moment and not actual change.
Dw sis - I getcha. Especially when Grace Carter is actually super-talented and could be a nice choice if it wasn't for the B-side album track song. Any other songs being released today that could be it, considering this was the Space Man release day last year?

Yeah this song above is probably her best ^

Her best song...

I'd 100% down for her to be the singer with a song like this, I love this song soo much. She sings about her absent father and tbh I relate to that word for word. Just not the one shes releasing tonight.

Pick your tears up is going to be premiered on Radio 1 tonight, this does look to be very much the treatment Sam got last year.

To be fair at least Elector Velvet had a reveal. All Sam really got was "Oh BTW, that Sam Ryder guy we were playing last week? He is doing Eurovision next week. Now the weather-".
Sam had a whole day of press including an interview with Ken Bruce after the annoucement, interview with Scott Mills and performance on The One Show on March 10tth. They played Space Man at 09:15 on Radio 1 and Radio 2 then throughout the day informing people it was the entry.

The previous week or whenever it was Tune of the Week and Sam introduced it in a different way each time then on March 10th he was with Scott and they revealed he said something like "Hi. I am Sam Ryder, this is my new song Space Man and I will be the UK Eurovision entry 2022".

People think it was hush hush but it wasn't and people strongly suspected it was Sam before the reveal.

They debut music all the time but you will only think it's Grace Carter when you are looking for it. It's a really downbeat song they wouldn't choose it for Eurovision.

I'm disappointed. I wanted Rustie Lee, Jane McDonald, Kim Woodburn and The Hotel Inspector, Alex Polizzi to host.

My country always cruelly ruins my dreams. You can't tell me we'd have not been onto a winner with that powerful, fab foursome taking the reins.

Rina would be perfect for Eurovision.
Perfect music style, not too big for the contest..
