Bea Munro is an interesting name. I believe she was part of the UK Jury at Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm and she is associated with BMG Chrysalis who are a parent company to BMG.

She would be an interesting choice for the UK.

I know i might sound crazy, but, theres a part of me that says KSI should do it, I think he recently signed to BMG and would be an interesting and I think brilliant choice for the UK.

Main Reasons.

1. He has a major online following, in fact over 20million subscribers on YT, 5.4million followers on twitter, 2.5million likes on facebook and 7.7million followers on Instagram and hes done that purely online.
2. The UK could take a risk and promote grime, which actually is a growing trend of music in the UK. and it could surprise Europe with something unexpected, which the UK has been lacking in the last few years in Eurovision, We have sent far too many boring, generic songs in the last few years.
3. He appeals to the Under 25s who made up 45% of the 186million people who watched Eurovision in Tel Aviv last year, they are more likely to be on Social Media than other groups so he has the potential to get a very high televote on his side.
4. He already had a song called "Down Like That" which got to number 10 in the UK Charts. So he has show hes got the potential to break into the UK charts.
5. Hes an entertainer and would absoutely do well with the staging, which could appeal to the juries.

For me KSI would tick all of the boxes to become a major player for the UK, Yes I know Grime is not everyone's cup of tea but I think he could offer something new for Eurovision.

@ESCConor

I'm afraid Afro-Americans don't have huge support in televoting.. xcry

I hope it does change soon, Andy Abraham should of finished much higher when we sent him.

The Audience will have to understand attitudes have to change. Eurovision stands for diversity and inclusion so why hasnt there been a winner of eurovision who has come from a BAME Background.

That has to change.

@ESCConor not to mention that I think he would actually agree to it. I've watched him for a number of years and he's always struck me as someone who would be up for any challenge and looking to further his career - Eurovision could be potentially huge not just for him but also for us Eurovision fans... why not represent our music scene properly?

Couldnt agree with you more.

KSI is a well known star in the UK and sending him would be a shrewd move from BMG and it could potentially go well extremely well.

The one advantage he has is that he has a massive online following, you dont often get someone who has 20million subscribers on Eurovision and go on and represent their country.

The one thing he would bring is character and a new genre to Eurovision, grime that is a growing genre in the UK. one thing the UK seriously has lacked in the last few years,is that we have sent too many generic, boring and safe songs. This would be BMG using their platform properly.

The other thing I notice is that he is very media friendly and would connect extremely well with the press and online, another thing we have seriously lacked.

I would imagine if he was selected, it would get a major, major reaction in Europe, they would go nuts.

He absolutely ticks all the boxes to be a serious contender for the Eurovision crown.

One Artist I would love to see at Eurovision, Freya Ridings.

If you can go and listen to Lost Without You, its one of the most beautiful and moving songs you will hear.

The more we edge closer to the deadline, the more suspicious I become of our entry for Rotterdam.

I just hope and pray that were actually sending something that would do well. I dont want generic, boring songs, I want a song that will have an impact.

Freya Ridings is probably one of the most emerging artists to come from the UK.

If she did eurovision, she would be amazing.

Maybe smth like her 2019 single "Castles".. xbow

Are you from London?

We didn't even know the NF songs this time last year iirc. I imagine they'll do what BBC did before in internal choices, late Feb early March announcement.
