Considering the sudden serge of positive rehearsal reviews, shortening odds and second half in the draw I wonder where Bjorkman will place them considering he has already made his views well known xthink

I hope the UK doesn't end up like France last year because it seems to be mirroring the same path so far except the half of draw

The boys may prove their critics wrong e.g Mr Bjorkman!

If they performed well in the show oof, time to rake in that Ukrainian 12 Points

Maybe not 12 (imo it's reserved for Armenia) but at least their 1st points since Blue.
In my opinion they don't deserve the last place this time.

I really don't know what to say here  I mean every year I think about how :uk: has such an amazing potential to do well and I expect something great....and then this happens. The song is just......painfully bad. Their singing is also more like yawning. It can hardly be taken seriously. I liked the last year's song a lot, but it was destroyed with a horrible live performance. This one, imo, is a contender for last place in the final.

1 point.

My prediction is we're going to come in somewhere around 10th/11th/12th. Praying the boys prove all the haters wrong :D

Regardless of the song, I'd feel so bad for them if they do do very poorly. They seem like they'e genuinely enjoyed/enjoying the whole experience and have absolutely embraced the whole world of Eurovision. We haven't had that for a long time from an entry in the UK, even Molly, who seemed more fixated on her Glastonbury performance and kick-starting her solo career. They seem like lovely guys who have been nothing but pleasant. I hope they do well.

In 2006 when we sent Daz Sampson he spent the whole week drunk telling everyone how great rap music is and that he's going to get us to finish in the top five. Atrocious. Joe and Jake seem so level headed and grounded, but generally enthusiastic and excited about the experience. They were interviewed tonight on British TV, and Joe did seem really nervous just talking and looking out at the stage. It wouldn't surprise me if the nerves do get the better of them or the first half of the performance is lame.

Malta has got a huge lead in likes and comments on the BBC page (11 thousand so far), compared to most other countries who only have a few hundred. Only Armenia comes close. My feeling with Lithuania winning our televote last year was correct, I know those likes are such aren't a lot to go on but depending how semi 2 goes down I think Malta might be one to watch top top the points from the UK - I thought this for a while now. Only a strong diaspora can beat her imo, and we usually favour Malta anyway.

I think the UK jury will probably favour Armenia and Russia quite heavily, so I think Armenia will probably do the best if you combined the votes (of course that isn't a thing now, but just as an observation). But when there isn't a clear favourite, the UK usually vote a bit differently from other countries.
