The Grand Final poll results are the following:

We also topped the 43 participants poll, circa 60,000 votes over the contest.

Next time on this board I expect it to say UNITED KINGDOM 2011 - Blue - I Can - WINNER!! I really believe in Blue and know they will have given their best performance, regardless of our finishing position but Im sure the votes will reflect their efforts .

I'm so deflated lol I can't decide if we deserved 11th or not ... I'm leaning towards not but probably clouded judgement. I just don't wanna see the press tomorrow at all it's gonna deflate me further! There's gonna be soooooo much "we should withdraw!" "neighbour votes/politics rule eurovision" "eastern bloc voting" stuff which will just make me so mad.

On another note I'm reeeeeally not sure I'm liking the juries. It's the only reason I can think of to explain Ukraine/Italy so high ... if next years contest is gonna be clones of these entries then snooooooore.

Even though I'm British, and was obviously hoping for a UK victory, Blue were pretty poor and ended up with a fair result. Shame the majority of the UK won't see it that way. 'political blah blah blah' nonsense as usual!

Here's to avoiding the press in UK for the next week or so.

On a serious note, this is a disaster for the ESc reputation in Uk. Just can't see who will enter for us next year. Here's to hoping it's someone who can sing live. We need a good result!

It is a disaster for Eurovision's reputation and I can understand people feeling so, we tried harder than we've ever tried this year and managed only 3 points more than Moldova... :?. I guess it depends on what happens to Blue now, if they crash and burn then that's it really .
