They've just watched the rehearsals now, I believe. They've just started the random scoring from the juries :p

10 points from Armenia! :D

Synergise, is the 10 points from Armenia a guess or actually what the juries scored? If so, how did you know?

It's the fake jury scores. It's all randomly generated by a computer, unfortunately :p
UK is currently 2nd overall apparently. Italy is 1st, France 3rd. Getting cheers when we score highly. We just got a 12 pointer, but I don't know who from.

(Crowd went crazy when Ireland got 12 points from Greece :D )

Eurovision got a lot of coverage today. Probably fuelled by Jedward getting through.

That's the thing, there's more hype over here about Jedward than our own act :D

Yup - also it was on The One Show. Angela Rippon featured :D. It seems the media is urging that Blue win but if not it should be Jedward which I actually agree with :D.

Came on here today to say the same thing. Scott Mills was a big disappointment. He sounded bored. For someone who claimed to be a Eurovision fan, he did an excellent job of hiding it. Bring back Paddy O'Connell, all is forgiven.

Sara was possibly worse. In her interviews, she seemed to run out of something to say before the first question. Also, who cares how many steps there are in the arena?

Nice to see others agreed. They were awful again on Thursday night as well. Very unprofessional, loads of stupid irrelevant comments and awkward interviews. They shouldn't be allowed to do another year.

They're talking about Eurovision a lot on BBC Breakfast, focusing on Blue and Jedward, and Barry Viniker from esctoday is making appearances :p He should be on again in about 50 minutes

Brilliant isn't it? Eurovision is everywhere. The One Show, BBC Breakfast. Cheryl Baker is also a guest on Saturday Kitchen right now. I think Eurovision is going to smash Britain's Got Talent in the ratings this year.

This is what I want far more than Blue to finish first tonight. I'd much rather the British public cared that ESC is on and don't dismiss it as a rubbish irrelevance.

I imagine there'll be more people watching in the UK for Jedward than for Blue! Whilst more people will watch than in previous years, it won't necessarily do much for the show's credibility, unless people like the OTHER acts in the competition, or if they subsequently see Blue do well.

If Blue can get a top 5 placing, it'll really help improve the perception of the contest over here. As much as I love Jedward, if they beat Blue, it won't help at all.

And Wooo, 100 posts :p
I've only been here about a week... :D

Come on blue...Im already nervous for them. Hopes the boys are ready and confident. Lee better smash his vocals or we'll be in big trouble! Good to see Jedward get all this attention as it focuses people on Eurovision (good or bad it doesnt matter) its ratings we need! Come on!!!!

I love how the BGT page on fb has lots of comments about people not watching it and watching Eurovision instead

Yeah, this build up is amazing to see. I only wish that this can continue and maybe people will be sitting up and taking notice more. Would love if the Beeb went all Scandinavian and did preview shows or similar next year. :p

Was just reading the oikotimes blog from the jury final. They liked the UK performance and said back in with a chance? :)

When I started to read back over the last few pages I was getting a bit nervous that Blue had done a poor performance in rehersals etc. I was supicious though because everyone I have seen them do on TV has been strong and I did not believe it had gone down hill that badly. Well, I have just watched the 2nd rehersal on Youtube and I was right - in no way was it poor vocally - even without making allowance for the internet feed. It was a really strong performance. Of course there is a risk that something will go wrong on the night, and Lee has a lot of pressure to pull off a difficult part, but I really have no doubts Blue can pull of a great performance tonight - they are good professional singers and the song is the best we have sent for years. GO BLUE!
