Well I think that whether they stay together very much depends on what happens now - although the United Kingdom would be happy with a 5th or higher position, Blue themselves are really going for 1st place and I think if they come anything lower than 2nd or maybe 3rd they'll consider themselves failures. So if they get a worse position, it'll put them off sticking together. But the main reason Id say is how well 'I Can' sells and then later on their album, if they have poor sales then I'd say they'll probably leave it :(.
I wasnt into Blue when they were first out but Im very proud to have them as our representatives, I think like Josh last year, they're being great competitors regardless of what people think of the song. Im quite unsure about how we're going to do - the betting odds are constantly changing and people's opinions are very much either pro-France or pro-United Kingdom! Hopefully the boys will convince enough people on Saturday!! :D :D

As it seems, it all depends on what they do with their performance on the night, you sing well, you stand out - you get the votes, as simple as that(taking into account they have a good song to sing)..

Well I am into them since I was a kid(now I am 22)..I was in love with Lee:lol::lol:
And yeh its pretty understandable, they are big as a band and they wont be happy with somewhere in top 10 like most of the participants.France is a great opponent even if I personally dont like him, vocally great but thats all.
Anyway good luck for Blue on saturday, hope they will win..or 2nd place after Romania, but hey i am talking non-sense here:lol: Also hope Antony will do better on saturday cause I kinda see him struggling on the rehearsals:?

Anyone else watching the BBC3 commentary find Scott and Sara really annoying?

Would be a big shame to see them breaking up again if they wont take 1st or second place although I'm sure they will if the live performance from the final is gonna be good..
Good luck UK! Good luck Blue!

This song will definitely profit singing after France, Italy and Switzerland.

Yep and i repeat myself from another thread saying how great the audience reaction was when they show the uk's clip!

Now they have a even better draw and Russia & Hungary, two songs which i used to think would take a lot of vote from the uk are far from them in the draw and let's be honest not as good on stage as we expected.

Don't get Sweden at 15 or don't get Sweden at all and a UK win is very likely!

Isn't that what UK do these days anyway?:D Taking advantage over France in the last days and winning by a couple of votes events to be organized in 2012 on the big night:D

Did you all hear the crowd when the presenters called out UK last night?! Absolutely amazing...biggest cheers out of the big 5 (except for Germany of course!) LOL LOVE IT!!! Hungary, Azerbaijan etc really were not as good as expected so....its ours for the taking!!!

Loved the crowed reaction :D :D And I agree that draw is great so far, if only Sweden now doens't get close to them.

Cheers don't mean anything: look at Norway who was the one with the most of cheers and applaud.... Didn't qualify!!!
They could have been in the winning position with a less narcissic and arrogant presentation, and better vocals... I don't think they have any chance anymore... It is time for France, see you in Paris in 2012!!

That's right. Look at Norway and their fans cheering a lot in the semi. After all that, they didn't even qualify for the final.
I think there will be more surprises this year :D

This is for Uk to lose or win now with only France to beat in my opinion (Hunggary cant win on what we have seen so far).
Now France have far less to go wrong on stage (but will the kids vote for an opera type song?) but UK have a good ESC sound and a top performance will seal it and outshine France on the night. A bad perforamcne will give the contest to France.

I'm still not a fan of this song

it's not a bad song but it's not special enough...quite forgettable acctually
if I'm not listening to them at that moment, I wouldn't know which 1 is uk and which 1 is russian (same songs, imho)

however, I am predicting high ranking, top 5 most likely, but I wouldn't be pleased with this winner, it's just not "ESC" enough

I seriously don't get all the hype around the French entry. An unbelievably dull song and a very dislikeable performer. I'll be disappointed if it outperforms the UK entry. But that's just a personal opinion.

The UK entry is strong and seemingly popular, so it'll do well, but I'm not sure I can see it winning. Then again, no entry screams 'winner' to me. I think the main competition is going to be from France ( >.< ), Azerbaijan, and possibly Sweden/Russia. Even the bookies are suggesting Jedward have a good chance of winning, and I imagine it'll pick up some 12s in the final, I can't see it breaking into the top 3 (but a top 10 is more than possible).

Add to the fact that we beat France in that our performer is world famous and have sold millions of records - France no .
