Cheers don't mean anything: look at Norway who was the one with the most of cheers and applaud.... Didn't qualify!!!
They could have been in the winning position with a less narcissic and arrogant presentation, and better vocals... I don't think they have any chance anymore... It is time for France, see you in Paris in 2012!!

Cheers do mean much - it shows that you have most support among the hall and thus the Eurovision fans!

I didnt say this before but Im going to, I didnt hear a single cheer when they previewed France but when it got to United Kingdom and Germany it was like wooo, whit wooo, yaay! The French song is certainly not popular amongst a lot of people that I've talked to - it seems to attitude of 'well it's good but not my style and dont think it should win'. If enough people feel like that around Europe then it wont be Paris 2012!

 that cat:lol:

Yeah I agree, cheers do count..there were cheers for Norway too but even if I loved her song she sucked big time vocally.Blue can sing live, they also have an awesome song and i doubt France can beat them,I rather bet on other countries fighting for 1st place with Blue.France is awesome vocally but thats all and I dont think will get THAT many votes from the people who watch Eurovision nowadays.
I saw someone bet on his/her house somewhere in here..well i can bet my house for Blue's victory on saturday:lol:

Its for Uk to lose now. A good professional performance and they have it in the bag - it will look and sound so much better than France so long as they can pull of a good performance which i think they can and will do.
Watch the UK price tumble in the bookies as get close to Saturday night - thanks to those lads from Ireland (2nd Fav you must be joking!!) its still a great bet!

We wont be "blue" late Saturday nigt we will be winners!!!!!

Anyone else watching the BBC3 commentary find Scott and Sara really annoying?

Came on here today to say the same thing. Scott Mills was a big disappointment. He sounded bored. For someone who claimed to be a Eurovision fan, he did an excellent job of hiding it. Bring back Paddy O'Connell, all is forgiven.

Sara was possibly worse. In her interviews, she seemed to run out of something to say before the first question. Also, who cares how many steps there are in the arena?

Add to the fact that we beat France in that our performer is world famous and have sold millions of records - France no .

Hum hum *cough* Tatu?

Still the UK has a good song and should be a contender, but being known does not equal victory that often at eurovision

Patricia Kaas had quite a boring song, Blue's song is one that everyone can dance to and sing along to :D. Cant really do that with opera can you ;) :p.

I can't believe someone would compare Patricia Kaas' song with "It's my time". Really guys, I know taste is subjective, but come on. "Et S'il Fallait le Faire" was leagues higher than Jade's bland and boring song.

Same with this year. "Sognu" is a much better song than "I can".

To be honest, I'm only watching this year because of Blue....have always been a fan, and will always be a fan! So you guys know who I want to Win~~ What about you?
Even though I am a little bias this year...but there is still honestly some very stiff competition...so it's going to be tough to pick one winner!

I also have a few favourites from the likes of Hungary - they really do have a catchy tune, and her voice is just without doubt awesome~

Another favourite of mine is Sweden, I especially love the music but not the lyrics unfortunately...it's just too corny cheesy and self-centered for me!
A little bit too arrogant for my taste...but great song nonetheless!!

Germany is back with another great track this time round, not as good as last years in my humble opinion,
but I still like it very much....it shows a lot of growth from a really talented and incredible young artist~ So I wouldn't mind at all if she took home the crown again this year!!

Denmark is doing it for me as well this year.....there's just something about boy bands that gets me, especially when they all look so hot and play rock music like that!! XDD
It's not very heavy metal but I like it, I don't like all the screaming and jumping around the stage, unless you can really sing....so Denmark gets a vote from me~

and Finally, I have to go with Jedward...just for the fun and entertainment of it....I have nothing against them....they are really cool and funny guys, and they really do have their own unique style,
which is why there's something about them that I like. They may seem a little cocky and arrogant in front of the camera...but I believe they are doing it for entertainment purposes,
which is totally fine with me!! I just like how much fun they are having on stage, and even with all the negative criticisms, they are still strong and true to who they are...a quality that I admire!
So I'm definitely rooting for them~~~But I don't think they going to win though.....sorry! XD

Go Blue Go!!!! Blue to WIN~~~~~ :DDD
