I think it was a very good rehearsal for Blue, they sang great. I think people are saying it's bad because they expected it to be spectacular, well it's not, it's their first rehearsal. Id like someone to point out another country who had a spectacular first rehearsal??
As for the screens with the guys on, I dont personally like them but I think they're unique and will work in our favour! :D

Well done Blue! :uk:

The outfits look good in those photos to me! Not nearly as bad as some described them! Simon tweeted that the costumes are unfinished though, he was a little upset that they were being shown in their current state so I dunno what else is gonna be added

Your opinion - a spectacular first rehearsal would be if every single person who watched the rehearsal to say it was great which they havent for anybody :).

Every complaint I've seen or heard about France's first rehearsal was about their dislike of the song and not the rehearsal itself. I can't find any fault with it, whereas UK were miles off vocally, never mind the technical problems and cheesy screens that scream of a massive ego which I don't think the rest of Europe will appreciate.

Maybe they need to be tailored properly - they don't look like they fit properly right now. I don't like the outfits, so I'd rather they got rid of them completely and wore something much more casual and urban.

Ok, I expect from Blue to be great. Come on, they were world famous once and maybe still are. The background is bad with them dancing, it reminds me of the video of "D'Nash - I love you mi vida" (Spain 2007) and that video was not good... I also think after so long music career you should know how to sing. One or two of them sang false. I'm dissapointed, come on now!

Blue is my second favourite right now but if they don't do this better, Hungary will take their place. I'm not sure about Top 3 for UK anymore.

The Eurovision documentary on More 4 was really interesting, thoroughly enjoyed it. Bit random for More 4 to be showing it though :? haha

Well I've decided to try and pick the positives out of the UK's rehearsal.

Let's get the negatives out of the way first - overall it still looks a tad busy to me - busy without achieving the dramatic impact I'd been hoping for. Also I think the screens of the guys could be a mistake. Whilst they would be spot on for a Blue concert this isn't all about them and the screens could be seen as a bit egotistical - "Look at us - we're the most famous people here!" - indeed I've already seen comments to that effect. However, I think most people who will take that view would not have been voting for them anyway.

Finally - Green! Urrgh! The LED show looks like something knocked up on an early home computer in the 1980s.

But I did say I was going to be positive so to paraphrase Israeliboy I'd say I believe 'Blue know what they are doing'.

The vocals are not far off the mark - and I find it ironic that Jedward are suddenly being touted as serious contenders for the win on the basis of having managed to hit over 50% of their notes but Blue are dismissed for missing a couple of theirs (you know who you are AKOE )

But they have avoided the Blue Union Jack trap and that's a big plus.

And finally, I'm thinking - or perhaps more hoping - that the performance is more geared to the camerawork and how it will look at home - which at the end of the day is where the votes will be decided. That is my big positive.

They're using Green cuz it looks modern + it will fit in with their pyro's which they went to choose as was shown in the BBC show :). I think the stage is spectacular and Im sure it'll work in our favour :D.

Two more good pics btw:

^^ As I already said once before, that's your own personal opinion. An actual spectacular rehearsal would have 100% approval :).

^That was not my personal opinion about rehearsals ;)
You know that I wish all the best to UK (and 2 all others countries), but they really must improvement their singing and whole performance if they want to do something in Saturday!

Once again, a spectacular rehearsal wouldn't get 100% approval and I love you to say what was wrong with France's rehearsal. I'm thinking your massive bias towards the UK and Blue is clouding your judgement.

Okayy so I think everybody's established that a performance can be spectacular in their own opinion which is fine of course. Just dont put it across as fact :).
