I wouldn't go that far :/ She's fairly widely known as a name but she's hardly a megastar :p

She's not a megastar cuz she's not that popular but about how well known she is, I dont know anybody who doesnt know her...

All I wish this year is that the BBC TRY!!! That's all I want, i'll be happy with a top 10 finish with a little bit of effort. Would be amazing if UK hosted it in Olympics year though

ok!
Do you believe that she will represent UK?

In my heart of hearts, no I dont believe she will, although I would like her too.
I think the BBC is going to either go for an unknown person, a really famous person or Charlotte Church...

Martin always says the BBC wont want to host in Olympic year but I disagree with him . I think the Beeb would like it!

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

Charlotte Church is pretty much the only rumour left circulating even though i'd prefer Katherine Jenkins, Charlotte Church is more likely as she is attached to absolutely nothing and her last album wasn't exactly a hit.

I reckon the BBC will aim for the Lower top 10 as the BBC won't have the money to host, they have been in the negative's over the past few years so the BBC need to make a profit. As a public broadcaster i really don't see them looking for sponsors (other than British Airways perhaps) so it's not in their best interest. Plus this year and next year the BBC are slowly moving to Manchester.

"The BBC’s controversial move of key departments to Salford will cost as much as £1 billion, leaked documents have revealed. The broadcaster plans to move Radio 5 Live and its sports and children’s departments to a new media headquarters in 2011."

2013 they may try harder, but this year will be about the same kind of effort Jade had behind her i think :p However Charlotte wouldn't enter to come last, every already knows how outspoken she is and she'll definately be in to win it.

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

Yes,but i have read this in her site

07/01/11
Charlotte responds to Esquire
"I am deeply sorry if my comments about Her Majesty the Queen caused offence. I am honoured to have met her and have an enormous amount of respect for her and what she does. After seeing those words in print, I realised how foolish I was to make such flippant remarks to a journalist. I find it difficult to remember even making them. My only defence is that I never expected a respected publication to sensationalise my words out of context like this." - Charlotte Church

Would UK select an artist that has said something (i suppose)not good about the Queen so recently?

Thats pretty much what shes like ;) she is very outspoken and says how it is. She obviously made her republic views known, but i hardly doubt people will take much notice

Re: UNITED KINGDOM 2011

You believe that she will pick up a song from her last album,so to promote it? (like Patricia Kaas has done)
The only song i liked very much is Dont think about it,but its not the first version!:p

That's what Im concerned about though if she does Eurovision, she could open her mouth and offend people and be misunderstood (like Silvia Knight was ).

Out of any random artist that are of medium fame, Id love The Wanted, but I dont guess it'll happen :(.
