You're right on that. I think the better comparison for me would be Rise Like A Phoenix. I don't remember the bookies/juries attitude towards Austria in 2014 but it was a fave for me all along and though I was expecting a top 10 I was totally shocked to see it win

RLAP started to become the favourite during the rehearsals, I think. But maybe I am wrong. After SF2 however, every Eurofan in Austria knew, that we would win. I was dead certain about it.

Sean said tonight that he doesn't mind to come back to that "disaster" again next year.
Matt said few days ago that the worst one was 2014 (at least for journalists).
Our broadcaster was in the middle of transformation from state broadacster into public one in 2017. What does it have to do with nowadays?

The idea of L'viv 2022 sounds very exciting to me. Ukraine is one of the few European countries I have not visited so far, but I should have. It's overdue and very friendly for my budget. And L'viv has some Habsburg heritage.

Eventually Lviv will host, my fingers are crossed.
Oh, you definitely have to come, it's worth it. Regardless Eurovision.

Somehow hearing the song through a bad quality selfie video is more impactful than watching it on TV. It must have been a blast to be in the arena.

Ukraine may break the 400 points in the televote and that would be for sure enough to WIN

I don't doubt Shum's high televote (not anymore), however the maximum is 468. Breaking 400 would've meant getting a 12 or 10 in more than 33 countries. This year is still far too balanced for that. I think the televote winner will be happy for around 270 points.
