Ukraine disguised itself in recent years as a country of arts and high standards in Eurovision. They won in 2016 with a remarkable entry that I consider one of the best all-time winners.

Now they are back to being basic. Slutpop deluxe like "Anti-crisis girl". Doesn't work for me. Makes me sick. Bye!

I kind of miss this Ukraine, I think ESC needs to be fun and sexy too and the idea that only "artsy fartsy" is the only way to go and everything fun/light/sexy/cool is directly dismissed is just too Salvador for me

And what do you mean by "recent years"? I wouldn't call 2017-2018 high standard entries by any means

I love both Jamala & Maruv, I have nothing against Ukraine's entries in general. I'd even dare to say that they're one of my favourite ESC countries.

Honestly I don't like songs in which the only outstanding thing is a woman being a total slut or a man showing body because they don't have any other talent so they have to sell a body. I think this one is sexy without being too vulgar, and I enjoy listening to it, so it's the only thing that matters for me. I mean, even if there was a super hot man I wouldn't care at all. I think it's unfair overrating songs because the singer is sexy/handsome, because we are not choosing miss or mister Europe, right?

I just listened to the the song for a second time and rewatched the NF performance and I think I'm giving it a chance! I still screams 2000s winner performance to me haha Is it totally decent for 2019? I don't know... But I kinda get the shady performance now and it could get a guilty pleaser for me soon... I'm still not a fan of the song itself though... But I'm upgrading from 3 points to 6 points for now

Everyone has a different definition for sexy. For me sexy is the opposite of cheap. That is why I did not buy into Sergey Lazarev's tacky performance neither, I guess I won't this time around neither.

Ukraine propelled to higher standards in 2013. I rooted for Gravity to win, I adored Zlata Ognevich, she exuded class. The song gave me life.

Honestly, I found Ukraine rather annoying in 2006, 2008, 2009 (!!), 2011, 2012. But that changed.

In 2014, they had a catchy song, that was sexily performed, but it was not slutty or in your face. 2017 and 2018 were good, Under the ladder was quite a good song indeed, the problem was the enunciation of English and the weird Dracula show.

This song is not a masterpiece, those trumpets put me off and make me cringe inside. But even more so the show. It's so cheap and low, borderline porn. Music and show, very low. It reminds of the terrible acts pre-2013, especially 2006 and 2009.

Ok. I think this is it. Just read a headline on some kind of newspaper or article or whatever saying that the song belongs to a russian company, which could mean the end actually. They're discussing the copyright, to whom it belongs. And it probably is someone Russian.
