Don't worry … you are not alone! Don't like the song at all, but nevertheless, Maruv won and withdrawing of such reasons would be terrible.

I just realized I still havent put my 12p in this poll. I have been too busy watching MARUVs performance, I guess.
This is so right up my alley! I discovered MARUV i 2018, and was thrilled to learn she was taking part in the Ukraine NF. Her semi final performance was a bit of a let-down for me. But her final show? I just love this!! I also found her vocals to be better yesterday. MARUV looked smoking hot on stage. She is balancing carefully between sexyness and tackyness. Untill the last seconds she is on the right side of the fine line. But when bringing out the guitar and the smoke-gun she steps over into tackyness imo. But up untill that point - I love everything about this!
The first 12 of the season for my part. And I dont easily give out 12s, seldom more than 2 or 3 in any given year.

This drama.
She won the NF and the broadcaster said they'd send her? What more is there to discuss or add. I for one can't wait to see her on that stage in Tel Aviv in May.

Performance is great, the song itself - can't force myself to like it. It really misses smth for my taste. Made experiment, in one tab opened video of "Siren song" show, in other audio of Maruv's initial "supposed to be" entry "For You", watched the mash - it's so much better

Whoever reps Ukraine at Eurovision has to sign a contract, pinky-promising they have to cancel all their non-ESC gigs to they can focus on the contest. That's what the statement UA
Here are a couple of facts for you:

MARUV confirmed after Vidbir that she will be the Ukrainian ESC entrant.
MARUV will sign the contract and go to Tel Aviv. END OF.

Honestly, the studio version is quite weak and nothing special ... the performance however .... dam, that how to elevate a mediocre song. I need a cold shower after this one.

Ukraine disguised itself in recent years as a country of arts and high standards in Eurovision. They won in 2016 with a remarkable entry that I consider one of the best all-time winners.
Now they are back to being basic. Slutpop deluxe like "Anti-crisis girl". Doesn't work for me. Makes me sick. Bye!

Well I consider Siren Song a very professional and musical entry. It's a perfect pop song but way more interesting than what you hear on radio daily. It's the cool alternative kind of EDM. Acts like Jamala and Salvador were awesome and worthy of winning but it's kinda annoying how anything remotely more simple and fun is considered "fast food" and "basic" now.
