Weirdest winner ever. Would never listen to that song on a daily basis, I think this victory is just like the one in 2014, Europe needed to show once more how open-minded and empathic it is... snort.

Not true :) Televoting still proved that Russia is not perceived as an enemy by the majority of Middle and Eastern European countries. So, for me, Russia (= Putin) is the one who's laughing the last (= the sweatest). :)

I think like you: the televote victory is the best victory one can have! :) But overall, they can not claim they won (and we won't have ESC in Russia next year).

No, because RAI doesn't seem to care this much about Eurovision and I don't think they would have wanted to host it this year if they won last year. But Russia takes it really seriously, they wanted to win and host it next year. Then yes, they are really butthurt because of their stolen victory.

Universal "won" Jamala. It seems she agreed to work with them.
The music video will be released soon: "It will be very unusual".
The new album is coming. Universal want to release her songs in Ukrainian (o_0) alongside songs in English for American market.

Jamala gave concert in Lviv yesterday. Performance of 1944. Was in that dress that she was wearing at the first rehearsal. "Tree of life " is back. Looks as cool as it was on big stage.

Jamala’s recent interview where she talks about her win, bookies, pressure. Russia, Lazarev, money spent on Eurovision etc.

Erdogan really called her. She was very moved. Didn’t expect that. TV presenter and Jamala laugh (when talk about Russia) that only thing Russians didn’t do yet - is voodoo doll of Jamala. "Maybe they did?!" - laughs Jamala.

Says they stood next to each other with Lazarev before artists were coming on stage in the beginning of the final. He wished her luck, she wished him luck. She imagined how much pressure he was getting from his country. For them, "russian delegation", was even hard to say "Hi" at the end. Pressure on everyone was too big. But she always smiled and said "Hi" when they were bumping at each other. She was getting pressure too. Everyone at home wanted her to win or at least not be lower then Russia.

Basically it was hard for everyone.

They (Jamala and her team) spent around 100 000 euros on Eurovision. It was worth it.

100,000 euros on her staging are quite notorious with these beautiful graphics, they look very professional and well finished.
I mean, countries from the Big 5 spent something like 200,000 euros for a difect spot to the final.
Do you know what Spain or France can do on Stage with 200,000 euros instead on spending it on a fast track spot to the final?

Countries of the big 5 don't get any advantage on that situation, better they compete in semifinals and use these 200,000 euros in their staging for their performances to improve at the best.

So, I've just finished listening to all of Jamala's songs... and seriously, I'm literally SLAYED! xheart So many classy and beautiful songs... jazz, soul, blues, folk, all combined into one peculiar style! And her unique and unmistakable voice... omg!! She's really among the best and classiest artists who ever graced the Eurovision stage... xheart xheart xheart

23.05 - the 1st concert in Kyiv. Different light. White dress (similar to the ESC dress).

Gr8 idea. Ukrainian version as well.
With different titles it already applies to any mass murders - Soviet, Polish, German, even Australian.
