Ukrainian Nazi collaborationists killed their own people who were pro-Soviet, so really, don't try to tell me the didn't mistreat Russian girls. Read also something about massacres of Ukrainian Nazi collaborators over Polish and Jewish and Bellorussian people... In particular about what happened at Babi Yar to Jews. And I didn't read these things in Russian media, cuz I don't speak Russian. Its all in American-Israeli historical studies some of which were conducted and written already in 60s. But I do agree with you that my words are pointless, so, I wish you a pleasant evening. See you around.

Please Wikipedia source about Nazi Ukrainians killing Russian girls.

Armenia were definitely treated harsher for a song last year that had far more oblique lyrics and less anguished performance and did not make any date reference and that they even denied was aimed at anyone. Whereas the Ukraine song is fully admitted and promoted as being about an event. I just wonder if there are different rules according to how big you are.

We on Balkans are really crazy people and often do idiocy, but we never cross the borders. That's why am I so proud on every single Balkan country. Europe, especially eastern part of it, can learn a lot from us.

And it seems there is a lot of negative reaction across the continent about Ukrainian win.
However, only positive thing is that for couple of days Ukrainians was happy and forgot on cruel reality (of course not al of them enjoy it)

And Soviet committed a holocaust against the Ukrainian people were around 5-10 million people were starved to death, the so called "Holodomor"... historical fact. Many leading figures in Soviet who were part architects of this were also Jewish.

I'm not denying or trying to whitewash the fact that Ukraine collaborated with Nazis (mostly as a desperate move to get away from Russia), but so did Italy, the Baltic states, Hungary, Slovakia, Croatia, Serbia, Romania and Bulgaria aswell. Except for the Western Allies, pretty much only Poland and Czech Republic weren't allied with the Nazis, Switzerland wasn't on paper but Nazis hid stolen money in their banks so...

Not sure what this has to do with this discussion though, but I felt I wanted to respond to your comment here.

Holodomyr  'Holodomor' is right. What you wrote means exactly "hunger+peace"
As for collaboration with nazis, there was ukrainians that supported them but it was only small part of ukrainians. Most of them fought against Hitler, so please don't generelize all of us.

Oh ok misspelling, a quite "funny" one (unintentionally) even I must admit...

But the point is obviously more important than the misspelling

I honestly don't know who started it, for once it wasn't me

I had to comment on that comment I saw though, not sure in what context it was made though...

I guess this is what you get when you have a song with political undertones and the whole context and of course Kremlin trolls that are overflooding the net (including this forum unfortunately).

Bosnia will never do that.

For most people in Bosnia having a staging with a barb wire this year was already too much.

Beside politics, Ukrainian entry was really good for me. Unusual, authentic and atmospheric. The problem is nobody is talking about the song. Nobody will remember Jamala's unique voice, but only issues around this song. The same like 2014 when Conchita won. That's the thing.

And one more comment not related to topic, but I have to add relations between the Balkan countries are much better than most people think.

Before you call someone ignorant or accusing them of trying to "create a false history", first check what that person actually refers to thank you very much!

Here's a quick sum up of what I referred to and why Serbia was on my list (in fact also Spain and Vichy France should have been mentioned aswell).

On 25 March 1941, Prince Paul of Yugoslavia signed the Tripartite Pact, allying the Kingdom of Yugoslavia with the Axis powers. Prince Paul was overthrown, and a new anti-German government under Peter II and Dušan Simović took power. The new government withdrew its support for the Axis, but did not repudiate the Tripartite Pact. Nevertheless, Axis forces, led by Nazi Germany invaded Yugoslavia in April 1941.

The puppet government of Milan Nedic, put in place by the Nazi occupational forces in August 1941, was given responsibility for many Holocaust-related activities, including the registration and arrest of Jews and joint control over the Banjica concentration camp in Belgrade.

Dimitrije Ljotić, who was a leading Serbian Nazi ideologist founded a pan-Serbian, pro-Nazi and Fascist party Zbor. The military part of Zbor renowned as the Serbian Voluntary Guard acted as a reliable ally of Gestapo in elimination of Jews.

Now I never accused Serbia or all Serbs to be Nazi collaborators though, of course that wasn't the case and I'm sorry if it came across that way, but you should relax with your reaction though and hear me out first. I know the Serbian case isn't as clear as some of the others though and I know there was great resistance and that this was a puppet regime and just parts of the population collaborated, but it's an historical fact that the puppet regime existed and that there was a local Nazi guard aswell helping out.
