I'm not a big fan of Jamala's music, I had listened to her songs before thanks to online contest and they weren't exactly my cup of tea...BUT! 1944 is a perfect song for her, and it'll stand out in Stockholm between so many formulaic and mainstream songs (and voices) I disagree with those who think that this entry is fogettable, no way...one can like it or not, but this song is very particular and surely will get atenttion of the press and audience.

Personally, it's one of my favourites this year.

Sorry Ukraine, dear neighbours! I try to love it because of the message but I can not. xsorry When Jamala starts crying, I must turn down the volume immediately. I wish the best because of the message.

Thanks, I did not know her. I did not follow Eurovision in Belgrade after Magdi Rúzsa had been robbed in 2007. I hope politic issues will disappear from this and Sergey's thread. I do not want either of them to win but not because of Putin or Crimea.

Sorry, but Jamala sings that Russia is guilty etc., this is hidden of course because you are not allowed to break the rules, in my opinion this song is obviously political and I dislike that. I love it as a song but I hate it's so political.

Wow, so many obnoxious comments. I understand that many people are upset because Hardkiss didn't win (just like I was upset when Michal from :pl: won KE) but there is a difference between disliking a song and insulting an artist. I can't get my head around people saying that she sounds like a horse - are you deaf or something?

Hopefully Jamala doesn't read these nasty comments. If she does then, I have a short message:
Jamala, sweetie, don't worry about the haters. I'm sure Ukraine is proud of you. Europe loves you xheart
