Saw the highlights of HJK - Vikingur. Well finished goals from Klauss and Mosa Yoghoubi ;)

Also The New Saints nearly pulled off an un-believable comeback from 5 goals down to force extra time but just fell short. Shkëndija will now play Sheriff from Moldova in R2Q

UEFA Champions League

:lv: Spartaks Jurmala 0:0 :rs: Crvena Zvezda

Zvezda was dominant on the entire match but Spartaks was defending very well. They also had a couple of chances to score. Zvezda is still a huge favorite but if Spartaks shows this kind of dedication in the second leg too, they will have their chances.

UEFA Europa League

:me: Rudar Pljevlja 0:3 :rs: Partizan

A solid opening for us and a great result on top of that. The first half wasn't that good, we had issues to find our play and we couldn't create many chances. But the second half was much better. Rudar played a good match too even though they were mosty oriented on the defense (as it was expected). We have a good result and we can already look forward to the next round but of course, the job is not finished here. Looking forward to the first match in front of our audience.

:rs: Radnički Niš 4:0 :mt: Gzira United

Amazing start for Radnički. They were very dominant throughout the entire match and they could've scored even more goals. I hope they keep up this rhthym in the next matches as well.

:rs: Spartak Subotica 1:1 Coleraine

As expected, Spartak couldn't win on home ground despite showing more in the first match. It will be very tricky in the second leg and I think Coleraine has higher chances to pass through.

That's a great start for all the Serbian teams. Can Radnicki Nis actually win the title. I've heard some Serbian people say they can. ;)

Radnički is one of the better teams in the :rs: league and they can beat anyone. However, Partizan and Crvena Zvezda are miles ahead of everyone else for quite some time now and it's mostly a race between these two teams. Vojvodina was the closest team to win other than these 2 a couple of years ago but they lost some crucial matches near the end.

But, Radnički is definitely in the top 5 right now (based on the quality of individual players).

Did Viitorul play just as awful as one of my tweeps said and as awful as the result says? I'm asking because of their game against :nl: Vitesse.

Against Racing Union they played with the reserves, but they also lost with the first team in the 1st round in Liga 1 against newly promoted Dunarea Calarasi. I don't think that Vitesse Arnhem should worry about them!

UEFA Champions League, 3rd round:

:ro: CFR Cluj/:se: Malmo - Ludogorets Razgrad :bg:/Vidi :hu:
If CFR Cluj pasess Malmo, they will have a hard time against Ludogorets.

UEFA Europa League, 3rd round:

:hr: Hajduk Split/:bg: Slavia Sofia - Rudar Velenje :sl:/FCSB Bucharest :ro:
It will be hard against Hajduk in Split, but overall I think we will make it!

:me: Sutjeska/:am: Alashkert - CFR Cluj :ro:/Malmo :se:
If CFR Cluj loses against Malmo, they are surely qualified for the UEFA Europa League Play-Off

:ro: Viitorul Constanta/:nl: Vitesse Arnhem - PAOK Thesaloniki :gr:/FC Basel :ch:
Viitorul won't pass Vitesse Arnhem, so it really doesen't mather!

:de: Red Bull Leipzig/:se: Hacken - U Craiova :ro:
Goodbye U Craiova

Just before the new round I guess :D

UEFA Champions League

:rs: Crvena Zvezda 2:0 :lv: Spartaks Jurmala

Spartaks played well all the way until the end. They were mostly defending (as expected) but they had their chances too. In the end, Zvezda won based on pure quality.

UEFA Europa League

:rs: Partizan 3:0 :me: Rudar Pljevlja

Much better match than the first one in :me: and yet another routine victory. We didn't spend ourselves too much so we should be ready for :lt: Trakai.

:mt: Gzira United 0:1 :rs: Radnički Niš

Another great match for Radnički. They could've scored a couple more goals but I think Lalatović and his team did great anyway.

Coleraine 0:2 :rs: Spartak Subotica

Spartak played surprisingly well based on what we coud see and they exceeded most people's expectations. It will be hard in the next round, but they already did a lot on their European debut match.

For the next round:

UEFA Champions League

:rs: Crvena Zvezda - :lt: Suduva

Suduva surprised in the first round and knocked out APOEL but I think that Zvezda is a favorite in this duel. They will probably play better than against :lv: Spartaks.

UEFA Europa League

:rs: Partizan - :lt: Trakai

We are also playing against a team from :lt: .I think Trakai is a great team but we are the favorites here and I hope we will manage to prove on the field that we are the ones who should proceed forward.

:cz: Sparta Prague - :rs: Spartak Subotica

I think Spartak has a "mission impossible" here but they shouldn't surrender. Last season, Zvezda managed to surprise Sparta and, who knows, maybe Spartak does the same.

:il: Maccabi Tel Aviv - :rs: Radnički Niš

Another tough match for our team but if Radnički repeats the same approach from the match with Gzira, they will have a chance.

Maccabi Tel Aviv are in a strange position as they are on the verge of selling their goalie Predrag Rajković who will be probably the number one goalie for Serbia soon as well as Iceland forward Vidar Örn Kjartansson. This could play into Radnički Niš favour.

Going to watch :kz: Kairat vs :nl: AZ tomorrow. Expect a close tie. Especially with Jahanbakhsh having left AZ for Brighton.

:nl: Ajax vs :at: SK Sturm 2-0

A good win for Ajax. Should've been at least 4 or 5-0, though Ajax were lucky not to concede a penalty after De Ligt hit a SK Sturm player. Ajax played well, except Huntelaar. Sturm were quite weak though.

:kz: Kairat vs AZ 2-0.

What an absolutely horrible result. That first goal was absolutely terrible defending. njdevils94 was right to say the least!

:ro: FC Viitorul vs :nl: Vitesse 2-2.

Not a good result, but certainly not a bad result after being 2-0 down. I went out to eat at 2-0 then when i came back it was 2-2. What happened lucian-crusher ?

:by: BATE vs :fi: HJK 0-0.

Not bad. Now HJK have to finish it off in the 2nd leg!

:lt: Zalgiris vs :li: FC Vaduz 1-0.

What a disappointment! They were heading for a draw then Zalgiris scored in the 86th minute. Ugh...

Last year was just pathetic from Dutch football internationally seen. Now it looks like we are going to win some ties at least with Ajax and maybe Vitesse. AZ will get a hard time, but they've done weird stuff in Alkmaar last season, so not ready yet.

Yes, that 0-2 loss against Excelsior was weird:lol:

I think Vitesse will go through. Pretty sure AZ won't.

Don't let the flag fool you. Kairat and Astana are both very good teams. Especially at home. Astana's former coach Stanimir Stoilov is now the Kazakh national team coach. Its not just oh were having to go almost into Central Asia and that will be tough on the legs and all the excuses made by Western European teams. They're also now facing a really tough side.

UEFA Europa League, 2nd round:

:sl: Rudar Velenje - FCSB Bucharest :ro: 0 - 2
Great result but not a good performance!

:ro: Viitorul Constanta - Vitesse Arnhem :nl: 2 - 2 DutchSuomiFan, Viitorul played entusiasthic but in the end the lack of experience gave this result. The chance are low now, but remember Petrolul Ploiesti agains Vitesse in 2013?

UEFA Champions League
:rs:
Crvena Zvezda 3:0 :lt: Suduva

As expected, Zvezda was much better in this match and they were controlling it from the beginning. Technically, this duel is already over and the second leg will be relaxed for both teams.

UEFA Europa League

:rs: Partizan 1:0 :lt: Trakai

It's good that we managed to win, but the game was far from perfect. In fact, it wasn't good at all. We can be happy with the result but we need to be much better in :lt: if we want to pass through.

:rs: Spartak Subotica 2:0 :cz: Sparta Prague

And this is by far the biggest surprise :D Spartak managed to completely outplay Sparta even though they were complete underdogs. Very good tactical preparation of the match. Well done to Spartak, I am sure they will manage to save this lead in the second leg (and maybe even increase it).

:il: Maccabi Tel Aviv 2:0 :rs: Radnički Niš

Sadly, Radnički couldn't keep up. They played well, they were not defending and they were brave enough but sadly it didn't pay off. I don't think that everything is over here but they need to try to be even better in the second leg and hopefully with the support of the fans from Niš they can create a mircale.
