What the heck is us up with Feyenoord. 3-0 down at ht to Trencin. Not watching the game but the scoreline just now. Are you watching DutchSuomiFan?

No, I did not watch and I'm happy I didn't. However, I am happy we'll play Feyenoord next week knowing that this is their form :D

UEFA Champions League

:rs: Crvena Zvezda 1:1 :sk: Spartak Trnava

Zvezda was controlling the match but Spartak managed to show that they didn't knock out Legia just like that. And the equalizing goal of Grendel has to be one of the silliest goals that I've seen recently. Just when Zvezda scored from a penalty, Spartak equalized 10 seconds later    That can be seen here:

I think Zvezda is still a favorite to pass through, but I believe that Spartak has more to show in :sk:.

UEFA Europa League

:dk: Nordsjælland 1:2 :rs: Partizan

Our best match so far. With the exception of the last 10 minutes where we lost focus, the rest was really well done from a tactical standpoint. We scored 2 goals in Denmark so we are very close to the play-off now, but, of course, we need to be serious in the second leg as well.

Nordsjælland is a great team, they showed that in the first match as well and I don't expect them to surrender in Belgrade.

:rs: Spartak Subotica 0:2 :dk: Brondby

Sadly, the difference in quality is too big in favor of Brondby here. Spartak was inferior in all 90 minutes even though they really gave their best.

Whatever happens, they already achieved a great result by eliminating :cz: Sparta Prague and on their first ever European journey. They should play for honor in the second half and whatever happens, happens.

Please dont forget your ladies are European Champions. It is not all about Men's football :p

I follow them ;) I know, they definitely slay :) Though also there: club football. Not so much ;)

Also, qualification for the WC is still very hard. They must not lose away in Norway(Number 4 of the world or something) And if they lose, they have to play tough play off's. So It's still not decided.

Ajax are not doing that bad in the Women's Champions League.

Well for NL it can still be a European disaster or pretty good. Though I don't like Ajax and PSV have to play in Ukraine and Belarus.

Minsk xfacepalm

As it wasnt awful enough to give away a 4:0 lead they even scored a goal in extra time, so theyve got a moral boost, they are playing 11 vs 10 to prevent an exhausting Zenit side from scoring twice.. and still they bottle it

Sadly now also the last Icelandic team is out. Valur won their second leg at home 2:1 against Sheriff Tiraspol but they are out due to away goals... very unlucky! At least that win gives Iceland some more points in the 5-years-ranking

Bad day for Dutch football... again.

It has to be done in CL Qualification, otherwise it will get even worse. I see a 2-1 at Home and 1-0 away coming twice :?

UEFA Europa League, 3rd round:

:ro: FCSB Bucharest - Hajduk Split :hr: 2 - 1 (2 - 1 agg.)
Very lucky! We qualified in the last minute! We have to be more focused against Rapid Viena now!

:ro: CFR Cluj - Alashkert :am: 5 - 0 (7 - 0 agg.)
Easy done! They should do well against Dudelange, but you never know!

:ro: U Craiova - Red Bull Leipzig :de: 1 - 1 (2 - 4 agg.)
And they are out as expected!

UEFA Champions League

:sk: Spartak Trnava 1:2 :rs: Crvena Zvezda

Zvezda was very lucky in this match but they used their chances well and they managed to equalize right after Spartak took the lead which brought them the needed psychological stability. Now they already have the group stage of Europa League secured so their primary ambitions are fullfiled.

UEFA Europa League

:rs: Partizan 3:2 :dk: Nordsjælland

We can be relatively satisfied with the first half and half of the second, but such a drop in concentration that occured from 70th minute and onwards mustn't repeat again, especially in matches like these. Some mistakes are still repeating from one match to the other, but hopefully we fix that quickly with additional work on the trainings.

We are still trying to find to reach our optimal condition but, at this point, the most important thing is that we are in the play-off and that we managed to win twice. For the next rival, however, we need to raise everything to a higher bar. But we have 5 days to prepare well which will be enough.

:dk: Brondby 2:1 :rs: Spartak Subotica

Once again, Brondby showed class. Spartak played much better than in the first duel but it was too late as they had a huge minues from the first leg :(

Overall, this was a very decent European tour for Spartak given that they never played any European matches so far and they can certainly be proud.

So, for this round:

UEFA Champions League play-off

:rs: Crvena Zvezda - :at: Red Bull Salzburg

Salzburg is an absolute favorite here but they mustnt't underestimate Zvezda at all. If they play close to their peak, they should pass Zvezda without issues.

UEFA Europa League play-off

:rs: Partizan - :tr: Besiktas J.K.

Catastrophic draw for us, sadly. Besiktas is a huge team and they are the favorites here. We do have our chances and we will need to be smart if we want to surprise. The first match is played in Belgrade, so we need to use our chances here. Otherwise, it will be extremely difficult to get a positive result in such a hot envirionment like the stadium of Besiktas. The chances are not high but we need to give our best and not draw a white flag already.

UEFA Champions League play off

:rs: Crvena Zvezda 0:0 :at: Salzburg

In general, Salzburg definitely didn't look like a team that played the semi-final of Europa League last season. They respected Zvezda way too much and they had an ideal chance to score tonight and be very close to the group stage.

Zvezda's team looks much more confident and they were also more dangerous than Salzburg who didn't create a single chance.

In :at: I think Zvezda will manage to eliminate Salzburg in some 1-1 scenario, especially if Salzburg plays as reserved as they played tonight. They had an ideal situation to attack Zvezda as there were no home supporters present on the match.

No Salzburg fan can be satisfied with this performance tonight.

I thought Degenek was excellent. He completely shut down Dabbur who had no effect in the game. You will see a totally different Salzburg in the 2nd leg I think. I expect a lot more urgency and pressing from the likes of Dabbur, Haidara and Samassekou. They are probably going to have to score at least twice though. It must be said though that Marin Pongracic the replacement for Duje Caleta-Car who went to Marseille in the summer was terrific along with goalie Cican Stankovic who is pushing for that starting GK jersey for the Austrian national team.

You know about Red Bull Salzburgs Champions League curse? They tried to qualify for the group stage 10 times and theyve never made it xcrazy once they even failed against Dudelange :D so Maybe thats why they are inhibited and underperforming... traumatic memories
I can see the second leg ending 1:1 with Salzburg having the lead until 5 minutes before the end and then conceding the equalizer
