Congratulations to Atlético de Madrid, despite I'm not happy at all that they won.

3-0 was too much for what we saw on the field. But although they have better team and the best football I've seen this year came from Athletic, today wasn't their day. They were too nervous

But nevertheless: SIEMPRE ATHLETIC!!!

atletico was way better
i am dissapointed in bilbao
they played with fear and lost
but i have to say the first goal of falcao was very important for his team
falcao is a great player. i don't think he will stay at atletico another season
i hoped in a evean final like a 2-2 and penalties, but atletico was better and they won it in the first half

I'm happy that Atletico won but I'm sorry for Athletic at the same time. Footballers and fans were so sad.

Normally I'm not a big fan of Bayern, but I'm willing to make an exception tonight. GO BAYERN!

Serbian teams have got their rivals in the Champions League/Europa League qualifications :D

Champions League Qualifications:

2nd round:
:mt: Valletta FC - :ad: FC Lusitans / - :rs: Partizan

Europa League Qualifications:

1st round: :rs: FK Jagodina - :kz: Ordabasi

2nd round: :by: Naftan Novopolotsk - :rs: Crvena Zvezda

:rs: FK Vojvodina - :lv: Suduva / :lt: Daugava

My club, Partizan, had much luck on the draw :D It doesn't matter which of these two teams will win, as Partizan is a clear favorite in both cases. I think our rival will be Valletta as soccer in Andorra is....quite amateurish I guess. If we don't underestimate Valletta like we underestimated Shamrock Rovers last year, this should be an easy training.

Crvena Zvezda is also a huge favorite in the duel against Naftan. However, Soviet school of soccer creates a lot of problems for our teams, and since Naftan is quite a tough team and they don't receive many goals, Zvezda needs to take them seriously, even though they are the favorites here.

Jagodina got the hardest rival and since the first match will be played next week, I think, that if they manage to get a good result on the home ground, they will likely pass. If not, chances are very slim that they will get a good result in the rematch in Kazakhstan. Jagodina doesn't have experience of playing euro-matches, so that is their biggest handicap.

As for Vojvodina........they should be favorites on the paper, but as they have some kind of a bad karma and they usually get knocked out by total outsiders (like a team for Liechtenstein last season) I think that both Suduva and Daugava can eliminate them. Also a fact that Vojvodina usually speaks in the media, and not on the field is another handicap for them.

And now the name of :rs: Partizan's rival is clear - it will be :mt: Valletta FC.

If we take this seriously, I think we can finish the job in Malta already. But only if we take Valletta seriously and if we don't think they beat themselves....

:rs: Jagodina is eliminated by :kz: Ordabasi. They lost on home ground in Jagodina with 0:1 and tied in Kazakhstan (0:0).

:rs: Vojvodina will play against :lt: Suduva, a team that knocked out :lv: Daugava in the first round of qualifications for Europa League.

That must be an '' epic fail '' or something. Kazakh teams are usually in the bag.

^^ It is, but it is not surprising for me, as Serbian soccer sunk very low on both national and club level (sadly ).

Our teams were knocked out by teams from Liechtenstein as well  Last season all Serbian teams suffered a debacle on the European scene.

Vojvodina was knocked out by FC Vaduz, Partizan by Shamrock Rovers (and this is imo, the biggest embarrassment in the club's history, even though I really respect the Rovers), Rad was knocked out by Olympiacos Volou (they almost bancroted at that point, but they still managed to eliminate Rad) and Crvena Zvezda was massacred by Stade Rennais with 6:1 in two matches.

Jagodina is 4th placedin our league, but all teams except Partizan, Crvena Zvezda and Vojvodina are playing a bunker in our league, and they always tend not to get a goal. They don't have any ambitions to attack, and it is logical that even teams from Kazakhstan will be a problem when you play two matches where you need to seek a goal.

Ordabasi outplayed them in both matches. I watched the second one (in Kazakhstan) via webstream. Jagodina wouldn't have scored even if the match lasted for another 5 hours......also there is another fact that Ordabasi has a higher budget than Jagodina, but that just shows how deep our soccer collapsed right now.

Partizan is by far the best team in :rs: (not because I am a supporter of Partizan, but because it really is based on facts that are easily measurable), but we are also far from average teams in Europe. Not to mention top-class teams.
