As Turkish fans,i don't see any chance of hope.
I think 2012 was the end if some smart channel doesn't attend to EBU

One Polish music journalist (Eurovision "observer", know more about contest than ordinary fan), said that Turkey's withdraw was probably caused by not having a Turkish person in EBU management.

If they really only will return if those demands are fullfilled, then my opinion is: Bye bye Turkey!

It's their right to sit out if they don't agree with the contest however I find it hard to have sympathy for them cause the only reason they are anti jury is because of the 50 point head start Turkey gets in the televote.

Couldn't care less whether Turkey return. It'll also continue to upset the voting blocs, which can't be a bad thing.

Obviously the number I mentioned was made up and was meant as figure of speech. The point was that the diaspora voting has been a contributing factor to Turkey's success at Eurovision so I find it rather amusing that out of all countries, they are the ones to cry over unfair voting.

As said, if they feel the need to withdraw then that's their right but I think the overwhelming negative reaction towards their behavior speaks for itself. I'm still hoping for a change of heart, there are so many Turkish Eurovision fans out there and I know not having your country to root for must suck big time.

OK.Everybody has talked about their wishlist, and there is mine:
1.Şebnem Ferah with a symphonic metal ballad.
2.Mercan with a nice,uptempo English song.
3.Hayko Cepkin with a kicker Turkish ballad with no brutal vocal.
4.Bedük with a uptempo English song like this.
5.Işın Karaca with a schlager like this.

No offense, but it is like the bottom five from trendy turkish songs.

Come on, do you really think there is a chance for Turkey to be back? Our current government sucked everything. TRT is a state channel so we have to wait until next selections. If something changes then we may discuss about Turkey to be back or not. I don't believe the reason is jury votes. This is just an excuse, deep down their cause is completely different.

Kinda expected this, but I was hoping that probably my favorite country in ESC will be back. :( Now I have high hopes for Bosnia to come back, but after hearing this I doubt it. :(

I just can't see how some people can't realize this, or better, refuse to realize this.

Or maybe it is you who has difficulties to accept that not everybody is sharing your opinion on your beloved juries?

I don't specially love juries (though I certainly prefer eurovision with them) and I accept your and others opinions about them.
It's just strange that you cannot see that TRT is basically using excuses. They might not really like juries but it is definitely not for the reasons yous tated, but rather because they know they had a good advantage with the telvoting (and it's just dumb to deny that).
And they also probably withdrew because of political reasons. (Big 5 not being equal may be a way of saying that)
