I like the draw. It basically turns the competition (which only Netherlands or Australia can win. everyone else is DEAD), into a coin flip. If Duncan were second half I would already be ordering my tickets for #Rotterdam2020, but his being in the first half keeps it nice and open.

Either way 2020 will FINALLY BE THE YEAR I CAN ATTEND WITHOUT FUCKING BANKRUPTING MYSELF (assuming Australia host in Paris as per Kate's wishes)

For such a runaway fave I actually don't have any strong opinion either way on the song or the performance!

This was truly magical. Really the only song that actually did something to me (aside from the interval act). The staging is simple but it fits the song and he absolutely nailed every single second of the song. Not gonna lie, this losing to Russia or Sweden, even Australia would be one of the biggest crimes in the history of this contest.

I am not so sure that this will win, the song definitely grew on me (it was initially top. 10 but now it's rather top. 3 so I wouldn't mind a win), however the performance is lacking a bit. To sit and fake play a piano for 3 minutes is not really exciting, the song is more dynamic and could use of a bit of "drama"... don't get me wrong, it would be out of place with some banal flying angels or mirrors (pun intended), but still... something? Maybe like staying up in the last chorus?

Vocally he is great though and he does captura his audience, wish there were just something more happening... not necessarily around him but with him...
