I still adore this song, but that performance lost some of the raw emotion and fragility of the studio version and previous live vocal performances. I'm putting it down to him performing on his home turf and the adrenaline spilling over a little, still confident that this is an easy Top 5 this year xup

Yeah, asking the audience to sing and clap along surely doesn't suit this song. But I am sure he won't do that in ESC. I am really looking forward to going to Netherlands next year xcheer

The pre-parties are supposed to be fun events, so of course Duncan would get wrapped up in the moment. I'm sure we'll see something different once he hits the big stage in Tel Aviv, whatever Hans, Ilse and the rest of the Dutch team are planning presentation-wise I can't wait to find out

To me NED is actually diaspointment on the stage..
Compared to audio version, together with Greece it is the biggest let down.
Belgium sounds better than NED to me…
First changs in my top 10 after this perfromance, ISR goes to my top 10, NED goes out of it..

That’s hilarious really, Duncan nails the song, literally everywhere he gets appraisal for this performance (see Reddit, Popjustice e.g.) and then there’s you claiming Belgium is better....sorry you just lost all credibility 😂

I don't care about "everywhere else". Belgium is better.

Just like you have the right to judge, I have that same right as well, and I’m judging you. Just because I can, and I truly find it hilarious. Bye bye now.

"You like X so you have no right to talk about Y" is...the worst Eurovision take? Maybe I shouldn't say so when "you don't like X so you don't like [country of origin of X]" exists, but it actually is worse.

Ohh, OK! Is the boyfriend real? Lol, I'm kidding, I just don't know why it is a big deal, especially in NED, but OK. Duncan is my 2nd favourite this year, so I wish him all the best.

Even more hilarious is that he was my number 5, then my number 10 and now is probably my no11... Out of 41 countries..well...dunno what to say more...really..

I loved it after the first listening, I even had goosebumps, but afterwards it faded a but and atm my num. 2 for this year. Judging by live performance yesterday I can clearly say it is a bit overrated entry. Saying that I don’t claim neither the song nor the vocals, however, both look less exciting that what was the impression from watching the clip and studio singing. I still wish he wins

The song is very well executed, I still don't feel any hype from the reveal to nowadays and it's totally fine since I have my tastes. I don't have any issue to see the Netherlands win... if so, please be it in Amsterdam because I want to visit it

Very likeable person. And I really like that the other contestants are in awe meeting him.

Hmmmm not sure after the live performance if I still feel the same about this song, I still have it near the top of my list but generally I feel the hype is reducing.
