Personality I think this song is better than Calm after The storm, it gave me instand an "FEELGOOD" mood when I listen to it, that mood appaired mostly when I saw the live act from TCL on stage, not firstly by listening to CATS.
I think this going to do very good, I am happy! xlovexyaaay

Cute song with an effective chorus. It's nice to have different music styles for Stockholm. Has more potential than Walk Along.
For the moment, it's worth the final.

Sorry, don't like it at all. It's a clear attempt to copy 2014 and I think it falls flat on its face in comparison. It sounds dated and I don't feel any sense of authenticity that this music should really have - Specially formulated nonsense. The Dutch have been such a let down the past few years. :? Will this qualify? Probably. Will it win or come top 5? Not even a chance, not even top 10. There are much better songs that kill it, and the Netherlands doesn't have the luxury of late draw either this time.

Just cause its country doesnt mean Every country song is a copy of the previous.
This is just his Style, which i personally really like. Im also slightly dissapointed because i expected more from him, but its still a Nice song. Funny how :nl: has been such a dissapointment to you the past years while most saw it as a breath of fresh air. We can also start sending sieneke and de toppers again

Yes he stayed true to his own style, he is just being Douwe Bob, and not trying to be someone else!

Great job :nl:! xup

It's not amazing but I still find it really nice and enjoyable. Maybe it will grow on me even more. Not really hard to achieve in such a weak selection of songs but I think this is my new favorite. xcheer

It's the song that I want to listen. I didn't want to turn it off during the first listening, so I have one more favourite. Thank you Netherlands!

12 points.

Wow, so good! Gives 60s-70s vibes indeed. Could be a great movie soundtrack as well. Too bad it doesnt realy fit this contest (at least not for a win) and won`t get too high. But 12 from me, the sweetest and nicest song this year.

Gosh yes, because I'm just so desperate for Sieneke and de toppers to make their grand return to the Eurovision stage. No, don't try to be funny and insult me it doesn't work. Trijtntje (sorry if it's spelt wrong, going on memory here) was hardly a breathe of fresh air with her bland pop song which eventually bombed at Eurovision -something I and many others saw coming a mile off. I never meant Douwe was copying, I meant the TV channel was trying to copy 2014, why else would they jump onto country music again? Not for the love it, I know that. It's them attempting to score big again with a formula that somehow paid off, only I don't see it working anywhere near as well as last time.

You do know the TV channel has no input and it's the artist deciding what song to use? Also you mentioned the Netherlands were a disappointment the last couple of YEARS, so that includes Anouk and The Common Linnets. Both scored high. This song fits Douwe Bob's style and his previous albums, so he's not copying anybody here, but is just being himself instead of adjusting himself to ESC.

If Trijntje "bombed" according to your biased opinion, then explain me how she was 5th in the jury voting? That's hardly a "bomb".

Woah, so am I. "Shine" was a super hit and who could forget the possessed amusement park organ goodness of "Ik Ben Verliefd (Sha-la-lie)", as performed by young Jane McDonald? Two of my most favourite Dutch entries.
