God how repetitive and annoying is that chorus x.x

Hello, my son, this is of course God speaking.

The chorus is very repetitive and yet not annoying at all.

All the Angels in Heaven are already singing this song to praise me.

No... they really let me down. It isn't awful but imo it's boring and repetitive. Maybe they could make some changes since they have a lot of time until May, cause I am sure Anouk can do much better than this. But unfortunately it was a taste of a great voice.
About winning, if Birds and CATS didn't win, then this won't either

(UK 2010 was the worst entry ever)

(No.)

Swedish and formerly Turkish fans do the exact same thing and nobody bats an eyelid.

Well, I do. But to each their own. So the Brits can now also be proud of being like a Turk or a Swede. OMG, who wants to be them?:O

HAHAHAHA.

Brilliant reply.

I do think it's positive, however, that the song is still not out of my head. That chorus is on repeat in my head.

Hmmm, I don't really know what to make of this to be honest. It's not what I was expecting but then it's not something wild or different. Somehow three minutes seem like five. I think the song will easily become an ear worm for many whether we like it or not, as the hook is very constant. Maybe this is something that will come alive with a live performance? At the moment i'm struggling to see The Netherlands continue their top 10 success with this, just based on the song alone... but then as we all know, it's more than about just a song, it's charisma and what you bring to the stage and your song. She's an established artist with many years under her belt. Surely she'll pull something off? It is a shame I feel the song is nothing to get excited about though. Anouk is great however and so is the artist she's writing for. Let's hope this is a grower.

There something I won't understand: jugding people on the base of their nationality. You hype your song, because it's your song. I know some Brits on this very forum who didn't like Molly's entry. About me liking the Polish entry, I liked the song before it was announced to represent my country, so this is a different story.

Why people hate British people so bad? They are so nice and amazing people. Always helpful. Some people are so prejudiced... Just go and talk with them, know them better and then jugde.

Saying that one shouldn't state their negative opinion about the song when the song their country sends aren't good is ridiculous. Everyone has their own taste and IS allowed to state their OWN opinion. It doesn't matter how your country did in the contest when you're expressing your opinion about a song from different country that was higher in the competition.

Forum is a place, where we share our opinions and that's where we are...

Netherlands sings "Walk Along" http://www.escunited.com/home/nether...gs-walk-along/

The Netherlands have officially revealed their song that they hope will bring them to Eurovision glory in Vienna next May.
Trijntje Oosterhuis will be singing the song “Walk Along” which was officially revealed on Dutch radio this morning. *You can check the song out here

The song has been penned by Anouk who previously represented Netherlands back in Malmo 2013, who seemingly changed the Dutch’s fortunes with her song “Birds” which *finished 9th in the grand final, and gave Netherlands*their first qualification since 2004.
The country did even better in 2014, with The Common Linnets, who finished 2nd in the grand final. *Can they do one better and win with Trijntje? What do you think?

It's a nice song, in the middle of the way so far (not that we have much to judge yet), much better than :mk: but not as strong as :mt: entry. And, especially, not as strong as their two last ESC songs. Anyway I think they can get a decent result with this. Gonna give it 7 points when the poll is open :)

Wow, revallsay you say it girl!!!! It's very true, we are all here to share our opinions. Sometimes we don't like a song. Our opinions shouldn't be belittled just because of nationality. I personally have only one entry from my country that I love with all my heart and that's 1977's "Rock Bottom". If people want to support and get hyped up for their own countries entries, then good for them. It doesn't lessen the worth of their opinions regarding other entries.

Furthermore, you Polish people are wonderfulxbow Polish chocolate and cakexheat

Unfortunately quite generic. Will it qualify? Probably. But it's nowhere near as good as CATS was. It's too loud, too shouty. I don't really like her voice and the constant i i i i i i's are annoying. 6 points

Pssst be subtle, don't pester our celebrity guest. Act normal.

OH MY GOSH, ANOUK!!!?? How absolutely fabulous to see you here. "Birds" was a magnificent song, dark and splendid. It's up there with other Eurovision classics such as "Suus", "Maybe", "Via Lattea", "Bana Bana", "The Social Network Song (Oh Oh-Uh-OH OH)", "Leto Svet" and yet to be selected 2015 UK entry "I Am A Woman" by Lauren Harries. Did you know i'm actually the proud owner of "Sad Singalong Songs"? What a marvellous album. All the best of luck to you and Trijntje Oosterhuis for next year with your hit song "Walk Along". Bless you, thank you for the music.

All my love, RainyWoods x
