Currently number 4 in UK iTunes chart. I think this is going to be the real winner following the contest

I've looked at the scores in more detail, and have noticed that the jury played a big role in deciding between Austria and The Netherlands. Whilst the jury kept Austria consistently high, there was a lot of fluctuation with the Netherlands. They still had a good average overall but it messed up the final points. For example, take the UK's votes.

The jury score for Austria ranged between 1st - 9th place, giving a final average ranking of #3. The Netherlands, ranged between 1st to 20th, giving a final average ranking of #7. Even though the Netherlands had a higher televoting score from the UK public, Austria still ended up with the 12 (NL with 8). It seemed that whilst the Netherlands had a brilliant song, it did still divided a lot of the jury members. I wished the juries were more unified, but with the quality of this song and the trends of Eurovision, it's understandable why people were still divided.

This week's UK chart has :nl: at #95. I think that's the first time in a long time (ever?) that a song from another country has entered our charts pre-contest

Can't wait to hear what the ripoffs off this next year will sound like!

Just kidding.... they will be the most boring ESC songs ever.

Our highest rate from the Maltese jury was #17 or #18, one of them thought we were the worst of all, rating us #25

I think the last song to enter the UK charts from another country that didn't win was Mouth & MacNeal with "I see a star" although i could be wrong. The was also a Dutch entry.
By the way it wasn't pre-contest. I've heard that sales were only from 11 pm yesterday and the chart was announced at 4 pm today
