Congrats Netherlands on a magnificent place! I ended up voting for this song, even though I wanted to vote for Austria at first.

My feeling says that Rise like a phoenix will be forgotten very quickly, whilst I think the Common Linnets have change of dominating the charts for much longer. The song will probably do better. So maybe we didn't win, but I think songwise we did win.

I think there is more victory to that. Spreading good music to the world!

Congratulations on your 2nd rank placing! Let the charts speak for themselves! Perhaps it was too good a song for ESC, but right now it's #9 and #58 (as compared with #26 and #56 for Austria) on the UK iTunes Singles Charts.

It's my favourite from the entire history of the ESC, and it will definitely be a song I will remember!

When they showed that "winner" and them next to each other but NED 2nd and AUT 1st I almost cried, I can't believe they were after that MONSTROSITY, it's crime against vocal skills, against MUSIC,. against EVERYTHING NORMAL and HUMAN!

ESC became RUBBISH!

I'm very happy with what Ilse and Waylon have achieved. The 12s were flying around our ears tonight (as the Dutch say) and we got so much praise for sending pure & simple quality music to the contest.

So thank you Common Linnets, for a great second place. It was a fantastic rollercoaster ride this week, one that I never imagined that we would have....until I saw what happened on Tuesday night. Thank you for this great adventure! I'm sure Eurovision has never been so exciting for the Dutch fans. Let's hope for more to come in the next years!

Im so happy is already feels like a victory for our country and thank you so much for all the support guys, it feels fantastic.
