Congratulations to Azerbaijan, you deserve the win .

United Kingdom, dreadfully underrated, Blue gave an amazing performance, was the most popular in the hall and deserved much more than 100 points. Can we ever win Eurovision?! I fear not . Having said that, glad we beat the French :twisted:. And thanx Latvia for your 5 points at the end, it got us to 100 points . Also I should mention Bulgaria - thanks for the douze points!!

Overall, Im incredibly surprised with Italy's placing - many songs were extremely overrated whilst actual good ones imo were overlooked. It was a shame that with quite a few countries I managed to accurately predict their 8, 10 and 12 points before they even began to speak, it felt like the bad old days. It'll be interesting to see the Jury/Televote split .

But Ireland, you suck, measly points, wtf?!! :evil: But anyway, congrats to Jedward!!

I always thought that our song, Italian and Greek songs were the best this year. I am happy that my country won, because the song is really amazing, and I am happy that my second fave came second (I voted for it), and my third fave Greece came 6 (right?).

I think it could only be a win-win situation. That means that Scandinavia can't vote for Scandinavia, Greece and Cyprus can't vote for each other, all the ex-Soviet nations can't vote for each other, all the ex-Yugoslav nations can't vote for each other, etc etc. I think this would make people pay attention to the actual songs more instead of voting blindly for your friends and allies.

Yep, I'll include United Kingdom and Ireland too .
First change for me would be to add 9 and 11 points, I really dont know why they dont do that cuz it'd give more countries more points, seems sensible to me!! Also Id like the idea of weighting the points towards the population for each country - for instance Malta, a country of a few hundred thousand has the same amount of voting power as Russia, a country of 140 million. That's unfair cuz for all we know, based on the amount of votes, we could have a very different result to the one we got atm! Another could be to give out seperate Jury and Televotes for each country, that'd be nice too .

I never vote for my neighbours because they are my neighbours, I judge all songs individually and my favories and votes can wind up all over the continent sometimes.

....omg...here we go again...as far as greece is concerned,isnt it FINALLY abt time to stop implying the good rankings are because of either diaspora voting or Cyprus voting....?1sr the only country where we hv greek diaspora is Germany/secondly Cyprus is like part of Greece,same language,same everything...and we re just talking abt 10 or 12 pts...so,why is it SO DIFFICULT FOR PEOPLE TO ACCEPT that vast majority-and not the eurofans,MIGHT INDEED LIKE our entries......?is this so bad.....????
