Marin Čilić entered the final of ATP tour in St. Peterburg! xcheer He won Mihail Južni (domestic player) today in semifinal (6:3, 6:4). Tomorrow he will play in his 4th final this year. His rival in will be Janko Tipsarević. I think Marin deserves to win this, it would be his first ATP title in this season!:D

GO MARIN!:)xcheers

Watch out, Australian Open.

I would have loved to see Kim playing against Kanepi rather then Hantuchova:p
But Kaia deserved it really!
I hope Kim won't meet her in the beginning of the AO:p

Does anyone watch Australian Open? It's difficult because of time difference but i try to follow the matches.

Federer is by far my favourite sportsman of all time. Would be awesome to see him winning a Grand Slam again.:ch:
I also want Clijsters to win Australian Open. :)

Federer-Nadal semifinal will be very exciting!

I follow what's going on at AO, but it's a bit difficult to watch all matches I want...and..this january I'm busy watching waterpolo & handball;) But I keep myself informed about results at AO, too!;)
Since Serbian tennis girls r out (thanks God - Ana Ivanovic didn't cry again, she looks stronger this year - physically and mentally, hope she gets better), now I will cheer for Kim Clijsters, though I don't mind Sharapova wins either. IMO, they're only ones with charisma who left there in girl's competition.
In men's competition, I'm all for Novak Djokovic, but I don't think he'll win it (he won AO 2 years recently, so I think someone new will be more motivated then Novak). Not even Federer or Nadal...but perhaps sweet Andy Murray:D I think Murray could finally win this year.
But good luck to everyone!:D

Today semi against Murray was great, both players was amazing. But Novak proved why he is tennis number one, this season he played much better than last year when he become number one.

And after Novak, Andy Murray is my second fave. I really like that guy.

Congratulations Djokovic! :rs: xcheer

I respect Nadal but have to say i don't like his defensive game style. So i'm really happy to see Novak winning his 5th Grand Slam title. :)

Thanks Melodi, Gerly and Sabi!xkissxkissxkiss
I don't know where to start with this match Djokovic-Nadal, it was totally surreal for me (one moment I'm sure Nadal will win, after 2 second I bet Djokovic will win, really really tight), it was longest match played in some Grand Slam's final, ever...I remember this morning I was at work and I was following AO via mobile phone, then I came back home and match still wasn't over, only 4th set was finishing:?
I wanna say - I admire both players cause they were able to play almost 6 hours on such a high level. I got tired of only watching it, lol.
At the end they lookes extremely exhausted, I felt sorry for them:/
OK, Djokovic was better this time and it made a difference. Congratulations to Rafa who is one of best tennis players, he's amazing. But he still didn't find an answer to Djokovic since last year (Novak just won him 7 times in a row).
So, in general this Australian Open was fantastic for :rs:, in future I hope our girls will get back to their best tennis, then AO will be even more fun:p
And once again, congrats to Rafa for making it to final, it's a great achievement at any Grand Slam. Looking forward for more such matches between Rafa and Nole/Andy!
And ofcourse, congrats to Vika! I'm sure she made Balarus proud!
(^and if I'm not wrong, I think she is now the new No1 of WTA list).

Yes, Vika is No:1. ;)

My favourite Serbian tennis player is Ana Ivanovic. She is so cute and adorable. Even Though it looks very difficult, i hope she will find her old form and reach to top 8 and i can watch her live at WTA Championships in Istanbul. :)
