What to say. This is probably the best tennis match I ever watched. Congrats to both players.

Why is Novak the best player ever? So far he won only five times grand slam, Rafael Nadal won it ten times. Maybe he's the best now, but i don't think he's the best player in history.

Nadal fan ? :D

Well you see i know tennis history allot. And no one is like Novak Djokovic. There will be no suprise if Novak suppresses 16 grand slam's that Federer has...

OK. Relax. This is not Novak vs Rafa thread. What's best in history.., I guess time will show [as it even matters??]
Pls avoid pointless assessments in this thread.

As for tennis - looking forward to the French Open! And good luck all:cool:

I'm not his fan and i don't know tennis history, but i think that naming somebody the best player in history should be proved by its success, he had... Now Novak maybe plays the best tennis in the world, but in one year he can be 2nd or 4th. This is a bit of an overstatement. That's all what I wanted to say, but I don't wanna quarrel.

Exactly!

There are a lot of players who achieved more than Novak's achievents. We can be fan of a player but please respect to tennis history and the other champions.

I respect tennis history. And it's stupid of you to say that i do not respect it. Even John Mcenroe respects what Novak Djokovic is doing. And he said that when he played tennis was different and that what Novak is doing is way more better then what he did back then. And he dominated tennis players back then.

One thing that hold him back was his temper.

Novak Djokovic ? I guess we need to wait for 2 or 3 years to see is he the one who will change tennis forever :).

Good day for Serbian tennis today;)
This weekend we had Federation Cup matches (girls national representations), tonight we have all semi-finalists, they r:
:rs: - :ru:
:it: - :cz:
Serbian girls won over Belgian girls in away matches (3:2), I think this was very important for our young tennis players who made it (Jovanovski and Krunic), it's important experience for them, and in general, it's good that we can win Fed Cup without A.Ivanovic and J.Jankovic.
And that young Belgian tennis player (I don't know her name) - a red hair girl....she's very sharp and good;) I expect her to make something big in tennis in future:D
Good luck all in Fed Cup semi!

Agnieszka Radwańska has got good form this year, in AO she was in quarterfinal, she was twice in semifinals and now she will play in final. She lost only threesome, only with No.1, V. Azarenka :)

New to this forum love a tennis thread! Massive del Porto fan just watched his win at Open 13! As for the women's I can see a bitter feud brewing between radwanska and azarenka. Can't wait for radwanska to steal the number spot this year!
