Re: Wimbledon 2011

xwooxwooxwoo Djokovic gets final!
Now I'm hoping for Rafael Nadal (normally, I prefer Murray, but not for Novak in Wimbledon final, not infront of domestic audience), Rafa Nadal would be easier opponent in this case:D
Serbian/French m double (Zimonjic/LLodra) lost in semi-final. Pity. But anyway, they can be happy with the result.
@CPV4931 - As for Sabine Lisicki - congrats to her too and well done! Semi-final is great result in Grand Slam, and this will definitely improve Lisicki's position in WTA list a lot!

Yes you DEFINITELY have reasons for pride now:)......for a difference of us.....

Re: Wimbledon 2011

Novak is, according to the media, the most popular Serb on the planet :D

And he has all the reasons to be so, he is a true talent, and a great tennis player, a person on which the whole Serbia is proud of :D Well done Novak, I hope you will be #1 for a long time! :D

Re: Wimbledon 2011

OK, until the US Open starts, we can talk tennis in general...smaller tournaments or Davis Cup and Federation Cup. Feel free...

As for Davis Cup, :rs: won :se:, now got :ar: for semifinals
As for Fed Cup, I read today :rs: will play with :be::shock: (terrible draw, if Jelena Jankovic + Ana Ivanovic play for us...we might win, otherwise...no chance;) )

We've got 2 Serbian players in quarterfinals too (and maybe it's 1st time ever, but not sure).
Novak Djokovic was expected to get quarter, but Janko Tipsarevic is another player (he plays extremely good in this US Open), but I guess he'll lose by Djokovic tonight. Too bad we have 2 players in same part of table, would be better if they met in final:lol:

Last night semi-final Federer-Djokovic was amazing, Federer took the first two sets, but Djokovic took other 3 sets and won at the end (although it was very close and RF almost won, but Djokovic played better in critical moments):) (7:6, 6:4, 3:6, 2:6, 5:7).
Now he will meet Rafa Nadal (ofcourse. who else? lol) in the final, tomorrow. (I would prefer Murray, but...)
I hope Novak isn't too exhausted as he lost too much energy with Federer.
Good luck both guys and let better wins:cool:

We lost by Argentina in Davis Cup semi for this season, but we're still in 'world group I' (I think it's called like that). It was quite weird weekend (matches), even 2 players retired (Djokovic, and then the Argentinian player in 2nd match)...like they were all 'injured' suddenly. I'd say - not motivated, there's no big money in Davis Cup.

Now I see we got Sweden. Not bad. I'm glad we won't play Spain and Switzerland.. at the beginning.
