I think Sweden won the jury race, since the Swedish score speeded up the longer the night. It fits perfectly the algorithm which determines the running order of spokespersons.

^ If there is need to be ashamed(!) of their valuations then, for god's sake, why should these votes count as much as the opinions of thousands or (in some countries) million viewers?
I think it's less about being ashamed of anything and more about being afraid of being harassed by overzealous fans.

I have this really out there feeling that Sweden possibly didnt win either the public vote or that of the jury. I think Russia won the public vote and Albania the jury. I can see Sweden getting a very strong 2nd place in both Jury and Televote.
I think that it is virtually impossible for that to have happened. After all, Sweden won with a margin of 120+ points, only 15 points behind Rybak's record. Rybak had to win both the televote and the jury vote to pull it off.

Also, the voting algorithm placed all of the countries which usually gives Sweden high marks towards the end of the voting order, which means she also won a resounding victory in the semi-final.

Since those five 'jurors' decide 50% of the outcome, the general public (not only fans) undoubtly should have a right to come to know how the final voting is composed. If this led to 'overzealous harassments' I suggest that something would be essentially wrong with the system (which I believe is the case). After all where is the point in a voting when it does not reflect anything?

I think that Albania was the first on jury ranking, and is still possible(If Albania would have let's say 240 and Sweden 220 and televoting Albania 100, Sweden 200+ is possible that Sweden been second in the jury to win the contest, remember last year !)

I don't know, it's just the jury and combined results from the final that have leaked so far..

Thinks that means that Russia received 10 or 12 from televoting.
Same for Azerbaijan

There is a huge disagree between jury and televote, when Russia and Azerbaijan score so high in the combined vote, and Norway's five points from juries (surprisingly enough) got wiped off. It also indicates that Cyprus was not a televote favourite but rather a jury favourite....

"Azerbaijan – Just so you don’t get the wrong idea: I have no interest in targeting Azerbaijan or any other countries, but the news come as they come. This Saturday, Cyprus gave its 8 points to Azerbaijan. The Cypriot jury got suspicious and complained to CyBC as they had not awarded a single point to the Azeri song. That suggest that Azerbaijan must’ve probably won the Cypriot televote. Now information surfaces that Azerbaijan got 3500 SMS in Cyprus but not a single phone call. Some people suggest that Azerbaijan may have hired PR companies in smaller European nations to massively vote for them."

Agree, I currently don't see a way for this result to come out without Azerbaijan getting 12 and Russia getting 10 points from the televoters. That's pretty remarkable when both countries received no points from the jury at all.

Here's my analysis to find the Isreali televote

jdxd-14-d67d.png

So:
12 - Azerbaijan
10 - Russia
08 - Sweden
07 - Romania
06 - Moldova
05 - Turkey

Furthermore: Spain must have got at least 1 point from televote, maximum 4 points, to secure the 10 points overall. The points from 1 to 4 are completely - except for the Spanish vote - are completely untraceable.

Not surprised what-so-ever.. and what's up with Malta's 12's to Azerbaijan each year? Sorry but it makes no sense.

And the win 2011... I will not comment on that but the looks on everyone's faces in the room I sat in during the final says it all...

Also a reason why I don't like the current jury system. 5 people can EASILY be bought... also why the lack of transparency? How long are we waiting for the split results? Why don't we get split results for all countries?

This is very suspicious, Cyprus & Israel juries giving both 0 points to Azerbaijan, but still Azerbaijan getting 8 points from both? Something is really wrong here!!

In Israel you don't need to suspect, there are a lot of people here with Azeri background and the song itself was good and many people liked it here so ;) I voted for AZ myself !

That sounds logical. Though I somehow exptected Azerbaijan at least in the Eastern countries to be a jurywank rather than an audience pleaser.

I find it hard to believe that Sweden is a jury favorite, and not televote. I thought it was the opposite.. Smells fishy :p
