F.u.e.g.o.

Is there a list with every staging she did? I would like to know.

Sweden 2012
Georgia 2015
Armenia 2016
Lithuania 2016
Cyprus 2016
Georgia 2016
Armenia 2017
Bulgaria 2017
Australia 2017
Georgia 2017
Bulgaria 2018
Cyprus 2018
Australia 2018

This year she's doing Cyprus, Switz and Malta(?). I think last year she said that she doesn't accept more than 3 anymore.

I just know about
2018 Eleni Fourera | Equinox | Jessica Mauboy
2017 Kristian Kostov
2015 Nina Sublatti

EDIT: Nevermind, didn't see the other post in time.

If Sacha's doing Malta this year, then things gonna get real interesting as I view Luca, Michela and Tamta to have songs in the same genre - uptempo, radiofriendly...
Who gets her best ideas?

She absolutely bombed EQUINOX and Jess last year... *facepalm*
She never should've done their stagings

Thanks for the list. Did not realize she did those three too which belong to my all-time favorites.
I have to agree, the «Bones» staging was not really good. But it remained my favorite entry of 2018.

Who gets her best ideas?

I guess Tamta. Switzerland and Malta are really desperate for a Qualifikation so they take any staging from her, even if its a recycled idea.
(Although Switzerland and Malta could have a higher budget than Cyprus.)

Perhaps if she wanted to do "Bones" and the staging for EQUINOX herself and didn't have two other acts to concentrate about, then perhaps we would see a much more deserving outcome for Bulgaria last year - missed chance big time

No really if Sacha Jean Baptiste is able to say that she did her best with Bulgaria and Australia last year then go do something else. If she's happy with the work she did then perhaps it's not for her to do multiple acts every year

Now I do love some of her stagings but she's terribly inconsistent and it was so blatantly obvious where she spent her time last year

I heard that she had a bunch of ideas for Australia but they got rejected by the producers and so Jess got stuck with that. I think she always comes up with OTT ideas but they constantly get rejected and then we get something half thought through.

eta: I have to agree that she's terribly inconsistent. She did Molly Sanden 2016, Lisa Ajax 2016 & 2017 and Hanna + Liamoo 2019, all 4 are good examples of horrible staging

Yes, and this is annoying because now I keep thinking "what if" about Jessica Mauboy last year. I am very curious what her original ideas were. Anyway the concept she gave Australia last year changed from every rehearsal so I'm not sure she really knew what she was doing, obviously...

But Armenia 2016 and 2017 and Cyprus last year - SPOT ON xheat

Do you have the video? I heard it from another source. However Paul Clarke said after Kate won in a press conference that they had several ideas and that all of them got rejected - but at the end of the day this all sounds terrible amateurish from the Australian delegation lol
So it would be another sake for me if they failed last year with the concept they wanted to go for, but this whole mess makes Jess' failure even more bitter for me because she didn't deserve it

I don't remember, but it's possible that William just watched the press conference lol.

To make this post on-topic, I hope that Sabotage Jean Baptiste makes Shitzerland her next victim and gives both Cyprus and Malta good staging xyes

I don't think so, but the person who said that Malta were going to choose a Symphonix song (they were right) also said that SJB is going to be their staging director.

Interesting then, because these songs are kinda the same genre and could potentially be fighting over the same votes

He is such a mediocre singer, She Got Me is going to be hard to pull through live. There is no way Switzerland will come close to winning the competition this year.

His voice sounds pretty weak in that video, but im sure the song + the performance will convince a lot of people to vote for him. I think it'll end up between 2-7 or something.

Although the video you posted is not a great commercial for Luca's voice, I am pretty sure he can do She Got Me. With the backing singers, the beat and the show (hopefully) going for it, I dont think this song needs the best of vocal skills. Luca is more than able to do this.

Unless he serves Mendez esque vocals, Luca will do just fine. I expect a top 5.

Not to mention that the video above features a not really challenging song vocally-wise, lol. Hard to show off your capabilities.

Even if Luca was mediocre live, Sacha would just do like Fuego last year and cover it effectively for the casual viewers back home to not notice it
