I think both this Swiss entry and the previous one are quite good (never thought I'd write down this specific sentence in any context, ever. Switzerland is one of my least favourite countries in Eurovision), but I also like them for different reasons. "Stones" is a damn powerful song, an epic anti-bullying truth bomb that, instead of pandering to victims incites them to fight back against their insecurities. It was a near-religious experience that gave me everything I ever needed in an entry (wait why am I suddenly starting to type like this? Is Rainywoods rubbing off on me?), aside from qualification, but oh well something I loved WAS going to get murdered in the Red Wedding Semi anyway, I'm just happy it wasn't Ieva or Elina.
"She Got Me" is... um, not nearly as good, but I like it a lot, still. I may like it the most out of all this year's Foureira Tribute Acts, in fact? It is secretly-not-so-secretly a cheap-ass campolicious trashpop anthem that coasts by solely on its earworminess and questionable sex appeal (Luca sort of looks like a baby monkey to me?) which fortunately also makes it destined to flop and become a huge trainwreck. This is an Imri in the making, the Trash-Ho in me is SHAKING.
