I honestly think that's brilliant - Melodifestivalen needs to give "new/debuting" artists more room.

I wouldn't mind getting a whole heat dedicated to "new artists" and one heat dedicated to "songs performed in Swedish only" to get a more diverse/varied final, tbh.

If the two biggest names of each heat directly go to the final most of the time, the final itself becomes quite predictable (even though very competitive).
