I'm struggling to get the mass hysteria levels of hype here. I actually really quite like the song, and visually from the pics i think it looked great. That said, I fail to see the necessity of that huge monolithic slab right on top of her, that clip does nothing at all for me, the pics were better. This is something that should be straight up my alley, but I also don't get instant winner vibes from it at ESC. Euphoria was instant and wow, this just feels slightly overblown because MF has been an absolute pile of mediocrity until now.

You literally watched only 20 seconds of it, and only the verse.

Ive also heard a minute clip of the song. Yet I'm not allowed to be critical but everyone else can slip into a coma over its greatness? I'm judging what ive seen and heard, as are all of you guys.

You just sounded already let down before you've even seen the actual hightlights of the song and performance.
Overhyping at this point isn't great either. But to me it's different to be already excited by the build up and waiting for more, compared to feeling let down because the build up doesn't match the whole Euphoria performance and legacy.

I'm excited but people declaring Loreen the winner of ESC 2023 when lots of entries are still to be revealed is a bit OTT when most people haven't seen all of it yet either *breathes deeply*.

Euphoria raised the benchmark of Eurovision as we knew it in 2012 with the song and staging but that doesn't mean Tattoo is an assured winner already. In 2012 her nearest competition were the grannies baking bread and they almost beat her in the televote.

Tbh i had no real expectations, I loved Euphoria and thought Statements was a heaping pile of trash that got what it deserved. This is just landing down the middle of it for me. Ofc there is more to see, and and my opinion could very change. I'm judging what I've seen and heard and that is that of a good song that on the pictures we saw looks great when being performed but in a clip all I'm seeing someone flailing around in a small space singing a pop song. We know just over 1/3 of the entire song, and its just not giving instant winner of Eurovision vibes. I think it could potentially do exceptionally well, but winner? We will see.

Its a bad year so far and this helps to increase the hype but the song really seems that it's the best we have heard so far.

Even though the song isn't something completely new and never heard before. It's not really about the song - the hype is for the whole package. I don't know about you but Loreen has this star quality for me, like the way she performs and sings screams global star and icon for me. The staging is also immaculate. Hope you get it now.

I agree. It's the full package that she is serving that makes this so amazing. The song itself is good. It's not my favorite (and I still hope Czechia wins) of this year but it's definitely a strong entry and I wouldn't mind if she wins. When it comes to the Melfest songs I like it more than Air.

Sorry but the hype was already before this videos/pics, just based on a snippet.
I like the stage, but the song does nothing for me.

I have never had trouble understanding Loreen sing but I really have to concentrate to understand what she is singing in some parts of what we have heard of Tattoo, is it just me struggling with some of her pronunciation this year or what? Ive never had issues with her before

Y'all need to relax a little, Loreen is not a set deal. Swedes tend to vote for back stories lately and not songs, so Maria Sur will probably win the televote at least.

True. But Cornelia won over Anders last year quite easily. And I'd say there was more hype for Anders than it is for Maria and there's also probably more hype for Loreen than there was for Cornelia.
