Am I the only one who thinks this might be a shock NQ? Don't get me wrong, the song is nice (and IMO best Swedish entry since 2014, entries between 2015 and 2018 were just awful) but I really think it doesn't stand out enough unlike the previous entries. Like, last few Swedish performances made up for bad songs but this reminds me more of 2010.

It probably will do well in jury voting but I think and have a chance to be higher and then I think it might flop in televoting. Any thoughts?

2010 was quite expected that we would miss the final.

got 116p in the televoting in the semi last year with a simular song, add that there are no actual contenders to John that are fighting for the same kind of votes, but people have said that we would flop every year since 2014

I don't know, I don't think 2018 was that similar. Also It doesn't always seem to work, in fact I remember people compared 2014 to 2012 (lol) but 2014 failed to qualify. Also note the difference betweem 2013 and 2013, they were both ballads sung in native language but got completely different results. Maybe you are right, I guess we will have to wait and see.

It's a better song than that from 2010 though. I liked This Is My Life more than at least a coupleof later Swedish entries but it was very vanilla even for that year.

No straw is too small for many fans to grab when it comes to dislike our entry each year, it´s very pathetic.

A tip to all "Sweden-haters" in here, if you are disliking our entry, try to come with relevant argumentation instead of all this exorbitant shit, how hard can it be? What´s the problem?

Ignore it - but if it makes you feel better this is one of the entries this year that I can listen to for an hour and still find it interesting

I just dislike the fact that some people can't acknowledge the fact that some entries do well despite it's not their taste and then feel the urge to trash it or whatever
I mean sure I wish that some of my favorites did better last year compared to Sweden and Austria, but that doesn't mean that I need to shit on the countries that did well

I mean, some people here really feel entitled enough to say how juries should vote - how they should rank the song, what's allowed and what's not allowed but whenever someone questions their rankings they're like; no

You just proved my point. I have many opinions of some songs but I don´t spit it out since there´s no point in doing that.

But many people in here goes very very far when it comes to our entry each year and that is what pisses me and many more Swedes in here off. Some arguments are just plain pathetic.

Nope!! Because then they’re namedropping so that they can have something to point to when they’re accused of hating Sweden! Have exactly zero history of disparaging remarks about Swedish entries, or nothing you say about them, positive or negative, is in genuine good faith!

Anyway, song’s growing on me a little. His backup vocalists need one more person on the melody but add a ton of personality. Still think its chances are overrated, but I’m starting to appreciate the song.
