I know that she wasn't looking good but still her song was way better than nearly all the songs in top 10 that year!

We didnt have Juries back then. I read that according to Björkman she was 3rd with the Juries. Overall it would probaby have been a Top10.

A source that is supposed to be trusted! I'm not 100% sure but i think Norway was 1st on juries in 2008 so in the mixed results Ukraine would have won.

I also read the Rumour that Ukraine would have won being 2nd with both, but the EBU didnt show the Juryresults cause if everyone could see that Russia didnt won, then Juries wouldnt have been reintroduced. I also think that either Norway or Israel was the Jurywinner.

Yeah and its not the only year that hidden juries would have changed the results! In 2005 Malta would have won in the mixed results!

I fear this might be true. 2006 probably Bosnia would have won. And 2003 maybe Belgium.

Those are all some terrible results though  It's probably not as reliable or as much related to current jury as the system simply wasn't used in those years... So I don't think we should take it too serious.

The fact about Malta in 2005 is 100% sure! Malta overrated by juries since then. About 2003 and 2006 i don't know but i guess too that the winners in both years would have been different if juries results were counted!

I believe that too! If their results were counted they would be more careful!

I haven't been following the news but is that a common suspicion that the national jury votes were rigged?

It‘s common to suspect something is rigged, when you don‘ like the outcome.

It is irrelevant if I don't like the outcome. I just think all the juries giving one particular song their 12s in a year which companies like Netflix persistently use minorities, black people majorly, seems rather too coincidential. I wonder about the impressions that other people have, considering how hard Sweden tries to get what is the best.

I doubt Lundvik's win was the result of some obscure, politically correct agenda. If Björkmann wanted to have a Token Politically Correct Winner, then why downvote all of the Powerful Female acts? Also why am I even replying to this, the song is great, END OF. Well-sung, well-performed, etc, it totally fits within Christer's warped notion of what music should sound like (safe, methodical, sung by a handsome man, etc)
